A buddy just showed Don's way with the space bar this past weekend, and I like using it more...

Android stole all of its user interface methods from Apple, so whatever an Android phone can do, and iPhone does it better because Android has to avoid infringing patents.:laughing:

I don’t understand the problem with photos. If I take a picture with my iPhone phone, it’s on my phone, tablets, laptop and desktop. I don’t have to do anything but look for it. It’s a setting that allows sharing among all my devices.
I suspect I’d have the same issues if I switched to Android.

iCloud does that for a price. But if you read up it downgrades the local pic resolution.

I found out about iCloud when I got a message it was already full and they wanted money for more space. I don’t want anything in the cloud.

Buckeye, go to camera in settings. Select Preserve Setting. Turn the 2 options on. Then go back to camera app. Turn off Live Photo and set any other option you want. Next time you use camera settings will be the same as their previous setting.

The Live Photo option preserves your setting so that I want on. On the camera I turned it off.

I had never heard of Live Photo before. Fortunately discovered the win 10 photo app will import the photos ( really videos) saving all the dates correctly and can save a jpg from a Live Photo. It also stores in a day or month directory so that will help me.

So I gotta use Microsoft to fix an apple issue.

Wish they had a naming format I could set.

The only problem I run into is when I need to move the cursor down. My finger on the spacebar is pretty far down already and there is no where to move.

My back continues to improve, chiropractor wants me to do some activity Thursday so if I have issues, she can fix it on Friday.

Yea, friggin crook chased my dad down in a hospital bed to sign a lease 15 yrs ago. He was putting in a gathering line the next week. He suckered my dad good.

Lawyers didn’t think we could get out of it.

They put a shallow oil well close to his water well.

Originally they surveyed to put a deep well pad on dads farm right behind his house. Fortunately that fell through. They ended up drilling under him from the next ridge over. Still in court about that.

Apple and windows stole the whole GUI interface from xerox.

Android is better IMHO, better time picker that’s for sure.

My son showed me this method I like dons better.

Got a call from disability Ins. Transitioning to LTD they told me I need to apply for SSDI, they will only pay the difference. They also only pay LTD at end of a month. So, more time soon with no pay. If I don’t apply for SSDI they will approx the amount and deduct from my LTD pay. Also they said I should have started applying for SSDI already. I said first I heard of it.

I told her how disgusted I was with the whole disability payment process. That it was worse than my illness.

most LTD uses SS as an offset, pretty standard. Everyone tries to get the other company to pay.

five hours of paint scraping and painting, just couldn't do any more, got porch about half done. Oil paint is such a mess to use.

been reading that I'm an environmental hog asking Amazon to deliver in two days. Going to consider going to their one day a week delivery for
non rush items. I love the way they are starting to color the eco delivery boxes green, peer pressure from neighbors who see you haven't gone green?
I admit I do use a lot of their cardboard packaging to start my burn pile, so I'm doubly bad by not recycling everything.

Your post brings back a few unpleasant memories. I suspect it's SOP in every state. Maybe it's hoped that the applicants get so worked up over the various and numerous application processes' crazinesses that they cork off and save a lot of potentially expended benefit dollars.

Drew- That was my general experience after the incompetences of "key" players within the process (that led to episodic disruptions in benefit flow) were taken out of the flow with more supportive documenting paperwork.

That's how it ultimately worked out for me. I wish that there was such a service. Paralegals and legal advocates help fill the void to a degree.

actually a good independent insurance agent who has a lot of years experience selling the product, and dealing with the same issues over and over again, the paper chase, deadlines, delays in medical records, none of it helpful to someone on the serious mend.
Unless you have/had group coverage, if you have a personal policy, the person who sold it darn well should be earning their annual commissions by being actively involved.
Even follow up phone calls from the agent to the adjuster help. If your coverage is on a group plan, good luck. You will be dealing with my way or the highway drones who are empowered to do absolutely nothing except for what the manual says. No tickee no laundree....
