RNG what is the max lake level there at Oroville lake? The website showed the current level @ 850 msl. Hope you are as happy with Internet down the road ad you are now.
Top of the dam is at 900'; the water level'll never get any higher than that. Out of the seven years I've been here, it's been at or close to that three of them. This year will likely be the fourth.
As far as Internet data goes, if some's good, more is better, and I'm sure that the 100Gb I have now is just a drop in the bucket if I started streaming movies or tried to "cut the cable" and drop the satellite TV. So for now at least I'll stick with DVDs from NetFlix and Dish Network's offerings. The 10Gb/month I've had up until now just wasn't enough even to watch an occasional short video on Facebook or Youtube and still be able shop the web (lots of images) and keep the computers and devices updated. Add in something new like a programmable remote control or new satellite TV box and I'd end up buying more data when the things hit the 'net to download new software first time they ran. The Internet has evolved into an every day necessity, and it's too bad our government hasn't taken the same approach as other countries and treated it like basic infrastructure like the telephone system was with it first launched. Instead we're left with the whimsical notion that free enterprise will lead to competition that provides the best service at the lowest price. Yeah, just like it did with our deteriorating telephone system and the boom and bust airline industry. Oops, sorry, didn't mean to get on my soap box...
