77.9F and clear @ 12:00 ... high today predicted to be 84F, imagine we'll hit that and then some.
Started off yesterday by filling the bird feeders, putting up the cleaned (and dry) nest box up, then dropped the sprayer around back and started filling the tank using a trickle fill so as to not drain the well faster than it will recharge.
Stuck the pallet forks on and cleaned out my temporary storage area down in the woods by that big oak tree ... moved the old 6 x 6 retaining wall up by the pool so it can be torn apart, moved the old dog house I built up to the burn pile, moved the 65 gallon spray tank (upgrade) up to back of the house near the faucet, along with a larger plastic dog house (yardsale) so both could be cleaned off. Also moved a pallet of PT lumber (old deck parts) and three metal culverts into the area we recently cleaned up. Next time I have the grapple on, there are about half a dozen smaller maple saplings I'll remove out of the area I just emptied so it can get a little more light and so I can drive the Kubota to the back of the property without having to go over the lawn nearer the house or the septic field.
After that I mixed up a tank of generic Roundup with some marking dye (Blue Bayou pond dye from TSC) and spent the rest of the day spraying ... until around 20:30 last evening ... and I still have some spray solution left in the tank (< 7 gallons)

Amazing how far 25 gallons goes ... and how long it takes to apply it using a wand. Have more areas over around the barn to do today. Did manage to barely bump into an ash tree while I was spraying ... tore some of my thin skin off on my right forearm and I was bleeding like a stuck pig.
After I finished with the spraying I ran the trash and recycle containers up to the end of the road with the Simplicity. Noticed that there were three more sparrows in the house sparrow trap so I went back up with water, food, and a towel to cover them for the night. Be interesting to see if any of them survived.
Grass does not appear to have slowed down any ... could be cut again right now but isn't overly tall. Probably should mow it either later today or early tomorrow before the rain arrives.
The Woman was talking about picking up a rain barrel yesterday to use for plant watering. Did a quick calculation figuring 1" of rain on the barn roof ... yields around 2300 gallons ...
Might be worth looking around to see if I can find a couple of cheap IBC totes ... :confused3:
