RNG, I can tell you our premiums are $200 per month higher on Medicare than my wife's Blue Cross was.

Hmm, Medicare is much cheaper than our BCBS was. Since we use our Medicare a lot more than we want to. The only cost we have are our monthly premiums. No copay or deductibles. Our BCBS had all kinds of copays and deductibles. We are on a supplemental F plan with BCBS. The most expensive in Michigan. If wife did not have health conditions that keep us from picking another plan we would switch.
Pays to shop for a plan that suits you best. But remember as you age you will need Medical assistance more. Price is not everything.

Have a dump cart of leaves that I picked up before I started mowing that I need to go empty.

Chiro appointment later, will probably not get the lentil soup started before I have to leave.

now Randy wasn't your wife's insurance covered for free as a doc? Yeah, I'd expect Medicare to be more expensive...
My health insurance went from $1135 a month for just me to $270 total for Medicare. Am I loving it or what?

totally successful day today but boy my arms and neck hurt. Got all the important stuff cut down with no dings to people or machinery.
Took the lift back and am happy to call it a long day. Not many pics, working too hard.

85 out and now the rain forecast is going away. We could use some. I'll be out watering tomorrow.

Cool.i think thats the one ill get. We borrowed a pressure canner to try, but after reading the directions, think i wont get one. We canned green beans last night cold pack on the stove. Picked more tonight to can tomorrow. Then i mowed around the field and down along my creek with the rider. Gets dark earlier now.

Yes it was. But we are still paying $200 more, and it's still partially paid by the state.
