Quick look at honda
Neg terminal a little loose, could turn it some on the post. Tightened it up.
12.49 v off
14.33 idle
14.29 at 2500 rpm

When fan kicked on once, saw lights flicker.

You might have fixed it, but the sure check for diode issues like so many GM mini vans and TrailBlazer clones had, get on a dark stretch of road and put the lights on bright, if you see what I call micro flickers, there are bad diode(s).

looking at forecast, vacillating about going back out there and planting the last of the trees. Auger is on but my energy
is off. Rain isn't supposed to hit here until lunch time tomorrow.

Ford 3.5 is a nice proven engine, makes tons of power and what I've read is if you use that power you'll not save anything on gas.
But if you use it lightly, should do better, and Ford has great tech inside. There's a reason it's number one.
I think all these trucks are so good today you can choose based on styling or the deal and not get hurt. The real iffy question are the ecodiesels, the new smaller diesels. Will be curious to see how they hold up.

Now that I've sold the rv, I could do just fine now with a Colorado/Canyon with a diesel. Just wish GM had better interiors in that model and Ford is bringing back a Ranger that has been on the market too many years for me. Dodge's last smaller truck fared poorly against the competition, and I don't think there's anything in that pipeline. They spent all their money bringing out new Jeeps...

Coffee seemed to work...back out there to drill some holes.

Looking at a new ford 150 with the 3.5 turbo any recommendations last ford I owned was an 83 Bronco drove it for 23 years.
Sent from my iPad using TractorByNet

I bought a new 2016 XLT Supercab in May of 2016 and I can tell you I'm very impressed with it. Just shy of 20,000 miles on it now and not a single problem to report. That 3.5 Ecoboost engine is just awesome - very powerful if you jump on it, but very economical if you drive conservatively. All fueling data I enter into an Excel spreadsheet, and it tells me overall I've averaged 20.9 mpg since I bought the truck.

Spent the afternoon hanging LED shop lights in the barn. Got 7 up, not the drink. Will have 12 total.
Now need to run electric to barn. Have an extension cord to it now.
