26 and blizzard conditions, snow will slack up in a couple of hours but not the wind. Ain’t no snow getting plowed today!
Around 9.5” here, over a foot in the beach areas. Still snowing heavily. A pot of soup on the agenda today.

BFF, I’m glad your brother survived the alligator attack and is doing better. Was he vaccinated against large reptiles?

Good Morning.
It’s 18 and snowing now. Temperature is as high as it’s gonna be for the next couple days. Not sure how much snow we will end up with, I’m guessing only 4-8”, but with drifts much deeper due to the winds.

I’ll probably wait for it to stop before plowing, depending on how it goes. Fortunately, plowing is not a chore as tractor is backed into heated shop with bade on it ready to go, and the cab is very comfy, the heater works extremely well, I could wear shorts and a T shirt. Worst part is the walk from the house to the shop.

Just got a call from my mechanical contractor buddy, he wants me to go out on a job with him. That will not be shorts and a T shirt!
So I guess I’ll get up, have breakfast, and plow so he can pick me up.

6F windy at times light dusting so far couple degrees will be the high temp for today...2-4 inches weatherman said.

Outside chores done E muffin with maple sausages.

Plans for today...if storms ends early afternoon might start clean up,if not no plans.

Good morning! -2 and sunny. Supposed to get near 20 today. Warm up next week, then another cold weekend predicted next weekend.

Been up for a while. Still haven’t decided what or if I am gonna get into today. Keeping the wood burner fed is the only thing I am definitely gonna do.

Hope that everyone in the path of the storm rides it out ok.

0F right now fine snow blowing around.
The weather guessers are predicting 1-3" with most under an inch but the wind is whipping the little snow all around.
A good day to sit inside and watch the coal burn and the nice thing about that is it only needs to be fed twice a day
even in zero degree windy days. 5-10 minutes once or twice a day for a nice warm kitchen and living room,
no cutting dragging hauling splitting stacking. Take the tractor put the forks on pick up a pallet and carry it into the garage,
dump a bag into a 5 gallon bucket, pour in the stove hopper take the ash pan out and dump. A fuel that doesn't care if it's wet or snow covered
burns and provides heat.

As you can see, I was 70, and weren't you the one who gave me a wall clock that has a picture of a bird at each hour and sounds a call from that bird on the hour every hour. It's still working just fine in the living room.

And I haven't heard from Wroughtn_harv lately, but I see that he supposedly last posted on 8/21/2021. I remember when he said he'd been diagnosed with Alzheimers.

Brother did not have the reptile vac. He said his wife had it too and was doing ok, I figured she wouldn’t make it if she got it due to too many health issues.

And my son is alligator free now also, just a small one he could handle.

Was three inches, likely four now. I'm just driving over it with the car.

Started snowing again and the wind is blowing hard, but not like at your place, Toppop. We got 3 inches. Neighbor's daughter is getting married today at a horse farm/barn venue...will be pretty but cold...hope all guests can get there.

Some people choose those companies that will try to help lower their bills, but in extremes, their providers gouge them and they relay it to you. Otherwise, try to find why the meter is spinning like crazy. You can watch it and turn off breakers one at a time to see what happens.

You know, I too, was diagnosed with Alzheimers a year or so ago. I take Memantine and Donepezil, prescribed by my doctor to hopefully slow the progression of the disease.

Wow, that's a blast from the past. Sadly, 2 great TBN'ers in the pic, that are no longer with us...that I know of.

Not sure what I'll get into today. Didn't get out out to the shop yesterday, so maybe a possibility for today.....

snow sure did not stop and three inches is a memory. maybe up to 5 now. Heavy snow for a while. My friends in DE say they are in a blizzard.
I cleaned all the snow off the truck and now there's at least another inch on it.

got the minutes back from my church zoom meeting last week. Interesting to read them, thankfully have a very good recording clerk who is both bright and enthusiastic
about what she does.

16 degrees out, snowing and blowing, and winds are supposed to increase. Why did I come home from Florida so soon?....actually I had to for church tomorrow. Next time I'm spending a week down there, my fresh fish analogy to my hosts was resoundly rejected with please stay longer.

Ted, have enough snow now the snowblower should be used but I just hate gobbling up the driveway stones and flinging them, the noise really bothers my tinnitus. So I may stick with the shovel. Should really get a pusher model with wheels.

Morning all, about 4-5" so far, looks like another 1-2" before the winds picks up.

Son was at a sleepover and we had to go get him as he was sick. Nice drive with only plows out in a blizzard.

He is in his room sleeping now,

Will need to get the tractor/plow out and clean up.
