Ok, some It's common in southern England and the southern US to call lunch dinner. I remember at a young age being confused with menu that had Lunch on one side and Dinner on the other???
Breakfast lunch and dinner in Eastern PA.
But my favorite meal is tea time in Bermuda.
My favorite place there, took two wives there, Pink Beach Club. Coat and tie for dinner.
It was worth it. Fully a/c, linen and crystal.
Looking out at the ocean lapping on the pink sand beach. This was not hard to take but I surely digress...
I don't care if they make those scones out of tallow my are they good. Half butter, at least.
i could sit there and make a real pig of myself. If the room at the resort in Bermuda was empty, one of those babies got wrapped
in a napkin for later whenever possible. Simply the highest quality carb and fat of them all.
And who would think I'd moon over British food, normally thought of as giving you a heart attack.
which I'm sure enough of those scones would.
speaking of food, I saw a new number on the scale. A low number, thanks to all this working outside.
My goal is 200, I hit 209 this morning. Haven't seen that in 30 years. Eating all these vegetables will help.
Definitely congrats Drew! That is 51 lbs less than me. I gots a long way to go and a short time to get there.
Speaking of food,
My wife made a really good anniversary dinner (or was it supper) of pork chops, and vegetables (potatoes, red, green, yellow peppers baked in olive oil).
31yrs ago it snowed and was cold. We were going to go from the church to the reception in her dad's model T, but didnt. My family almost didnt make it to the wedding.
Toppop, over near Front Royal VA, little town called Middletown, (where I66 hits I81) has Nana's Irish Pub. Good food. I had bangers and mash there last week.
