34, still dropping and the wind died...so likely Jack Frost will drop by before sunrise. Only going to 57 and windy later.

Rained off and on all day and stayed in the 50s, so no mowing, only coffee roasting for a few hours. Started up the woodstove...never have we used it this late into spring in 38 years.

Need to make a dump run, then gym and then mowing.

David, congrats on the license...and the party looked like fun.

Don, nice dewberries...you made a sugar free cobbler last year, right?

Drew, I hope the Jag sells fast.

Hope everyone got their taxes filed.

Oh yeah, we picked our first asparagus on the season yesterday.

31 high of 50 today quite the little cold snap. Two confirmed tornados touched down in Craig and Amherst Counties lots of damage from Sunday's storms

Need to pour second cup of coffee. 28° with snow this morning. Heading to 36° with snow ending in am. I refuse to go out to barn and get one of the snow shovels to clean off walkways. It will have to melt on it's own. Going to get started taking snowblower off mower and stored for the summer. Will get mower down off storage rack. It needs a good going over before mowing season starts. I did the engine/transmission last fall.

35F light rain low 40's for high.
Winds got rough last evening lots of limbs/branches scatter lost power couple times,good 1" frozen sleet snow ice upon the ground least trees road are clear.

Birds birds and more birds plus four legged little ones sucking feeders dry like whirlpool.
Time for E muffins fill the feeders poke along to work.

26 with a forecast high of 37F. Wind SW 10 mph.
Periods of snow ending this morning then cloudy with 60 percent chance of flurries or rain showers late this morning and this afternoon. Risk of freezing drizzle early this morning. Fog patches dissipating this morning. Wind becoming northwest 18 mph this morning.

I am definitely going to plow this fine morning. I also have to dig the ends out of a culvert.

I think today will be BH picture taking day.

I bought a new fridge over the weekend. 18 cu ft, all refrigerator. $2100.oo delivered from Best Buy, it will be delivered on May 7th.

Those dewberries look good, but not good enough to risk poison ivy/oak or whatever it was.

I won’t have any berries for the birds to steal for at least two months.

Cool and rainy here on January 107th.

I’ve got a pizza party for Ellen’s DIL’s birthday tonight, and hopefully early to bed. Busy day tomorrow getting ready for a blitz trip to Front Royal on Thursday. Have to come right back for Ellen’s dads birthday Friday.

Buppies, I had planned to head your way Friday but it’s going to have to wait for the next trip.
