Drew, glad you take criticisms of your political statements well. You would be missed here on GM.

I wish I did Ron. I was only thinking of the song and what popped in my mind. No place else to discuss it for me. My mistake.
And it enabled lurkers. All the more reason to avoid it totally. So no arguments from me.

I worry for our world. Guess that is coming through.
I'd rather be hitting redline in that 66 navy blue Goat. Toppop thanks for pics.
Though I think the 396 sounded better...
One of my best high school friends had that exact GTO.
I look at Hemmings pretty regularly and sure is hard to find something affordable.

Good morning! Clear day 57˚ heading to 70˚ finally getting back to normal for late October, we can save that cold weather for February.

Randy, I did not see any 75' Pinto Hatchbacks in the bunch. :confused3: Rings? Just enough info to tease, or should we say congratulations:cool2: on your engagement!!!!???:confused3:

A chinees cherokee wedding theme, now that sounds interesting.

It was 37° this morning with low hanging clouds and a little rain. I guess I missed that part of the forecast. The app says it going to be cloudy most of the day with winds 15-20 mph and a high of 53°.

Made it out hunting last evening but didn't see anything but a few deer. Not sure if I'll make it out today or not.

Talked to the friend from NC last night, he said that they are leavening on Monday morning. He thinks they will be here late Tuesday or early Wednesday. They are coming to my place to pick up the flat bed with the side by side and a fore wheeler. We only have a three hour drive to the hunting area from here. The tags we have opens on Thursday the first of November. They will be here for 7 or 8 days.

Not sure what I'll be doing today.

Hope everyone has a nice day
CWB.

43°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 58° today. Rain will be rolling through later this evening and into tomorrow.

My Wife and I bought rings for each other (when we were still dating) back in the summer of 2011 at a little shop in Flagstaff that sold jewelry made by a local Navajo artist. She saw a set and liked it, and asked me if I'd wear it. I said, Sure," so we bought them. I think it was about $100 for the set, and we had to wait another week for our sizes to be made and shipped to us back home. We got officially engaged later that year in December, and I continued to wear that Navajo ring until we got married in '13, when she found a different one.

No, you were right, there痴 a 66 and 67 there together.

Without commentary, George W Bush was here at Pigeon Forge speaking at a religious conference last night.

How about Dolly Parton?

Good Morning!!!! 66F @ 9:15AM. Mainly sunny. High near 80F. Winds light and variable.

Thanks for posting the car photos, Randy. Very nice Chevelle, brings back fond mememories of buddy's car in high school.

Lots of bad news out there, and when it leaks into the stock market, prices drop as uncertainty increases. Maybe time to take a nibble or two while prices are low, but probably too soon just yet.

Finished the valve adjustment on the other cylinder yesterday morning, and when I checked for oil in the forks, found none. Added the specified amount and was rewarded with an improved ride later in the day. Wonder what else I've fogotten to do?:confused2:

A slow coolant leak on the van triggered a warning light and beeper a day or two ago, and sure enough the overflow reservoir was empty. But filling it again didn't turn off the alarm, and so far I haven't had any luck figuring out why. But in the course of troubleshooting, the hot wire to the fuel pump got disconnected at an in line pair of spade terminals that should never have been put there, and after looking at some of the rest of the wiring harness in the engine area, the mechanic and I had a talk. His excuse is that someone he later fired did the work, and has agreed to work with me in his shop next week to go through it all and fix whatever else is needed. I expect to learn a lot more about where various sensors on the engine are located, and how they're used by the Engine Management Unit. But that also probably means several days crawling under it with wire cutters and a soldering iron putting things together properly.:banghead:

Hang in there gang, Friday's comin'!
