I have the same one as Bird and Kyle. Plus the one made from cedar at Eddies place. Harvey and the crew made branding iron as
part of the get together. I found out I did not like Okra even though it was dipped in my favorite Drake Batter. Boy time does fly.

I found my cedar TBN the other day, I don’t know what happened to the sandstone version.

A side note on the chicken roof thing, I’ve rolled 1 3/8” top rail with the swedged ends using the Harbor Freight roller for making the frame work for chicken roofs made with chicken wire. But the easiest and best method I’ve seen is using monofilament fish line randomly zigged and zagged across the pen. Any bird of prey coming in doesn’t see the line and is terrified of the attack they didn’t see coming. They allegedly never come back.

Good evening guys! Going down to 26 tonight, supposed to go up to 54 tomorrow. Maybe a brief shower tomorrow evening.

I Made it through the 3 days of work this week, now off for? Knee surgery is scheduled for next Tuesday. Hopefully they find what is wrong and get it fixed.

This will be the first Thanksgiving holiday in the 35 years we have been married that it will be just the 2 of us. I think it's going to be strange.....

RNG, hope you get back into the house soon. Good news that the power is on.

It's been a real up and down emotionally stressful week....there's a bunch of stuff going on with the family ...some worse than other...trying to deal with it best we can. It seems like everything hits at once.... I haven't been posting much, but definitely reading / following....keeps my spirits up.

Good evening all. 33F for the start mostly clear, calm wind. Wind stayed down, high thin clouds until sunset when thicker clouds moved in, and high temp of 61F. Men's meeting this morning, followed by trip to town. after lunch bike ride then nap.
Ed you take such good care of the boy and then take the inspections in stride. My hat is off to you. Hope you get some tinker time with your shop toys :drink:

Ron, although I have been past Casa Loma many times I have never been on the property.

I'm right handed and type with 8 fingers. Yes I have all 8 fingers, the other two digits are thumbs.

My Dad was born left handed and wrote left handed until after many, many yard stick teachings* learned to write with his right hand.
* yard stick teachings are when the left handed writer gets cracked across the knuckles with a yard stick.
Remember this was back in the 'dark ages' of the 1920s and 30s.

Been to Casa Loma a few times myself. Used to live in Forest Hill, about 10 blocks away. Toured the castle more than once, with friends or relatives from out of town. It is quite the tourist attraction. Amazing inside. Not my cup of tea, however. Too much dusting to do!

Anyone else heard this rumour going around that turkey is on the menu, or if not that, you can still have whatever else you want to eat today ? Well I checked it out and it seems that it only applies to a select few. Hope all of you who celebrate Thanksgiving have a great day :thumbsup:
