I feel your pain, rip. My Wife and I started having that conversation this week regarding her Father.

My late Father selectively threw out home based service providers; necessitating my extended 2 month visit to FL. It was a long 2 months, but he finally agreed to move to CT and live with my Sister; not an ideal solution for either party.

PJS- good luck with your FIL.

Everything screws with your glycemic index. If I take prednisone for gout it screws it up, antibiotics, infection, stress, you name it. Mine use to randomly crash, never knew why.

today is the big day.
The worms are in.
Not much to see but sure were zillions of them in that little white bag.
Unlike my vegetables, this is very low maintenance. Nothing to do but feed them some scraps once in awhile.
Was told when they get hungry they start coming to the surface, just like your cat or dog looking for dinner.

The worm poop aka vermiculture castings works its way to the bottom and every several weeks I open the zipper on the bottom which
lets out a controlled amount. Should be great for my small rear raised garden.

I was a planting fool today. Went back this afternoon and planted two more seedling trays. One was another tray of those five pound onions.
Folks will only have to take one of those home...
Now I'm tuckered out.
Running out of planting trays, this worked out well. Hard to believe I planted potatoes in the ground last year Feb 15.
I need to call the place tomorrow where I order them and follow up.

Hellos sent to Larro, he must be planting like mad already in Florida. An avid gardener for sure.
I'm going to have to massage my cabbages to get them as nice as Kyle's daughter's. Mine were much smaller.
Doing things quite differently this year. 4 varieties of cabbage plus I'm using crop covers on the first batch.
I've got two trays of them already almost two inches high.
C'mon Boss, let's get out there!
And bring our coats...
