well made it in by 3, that's some improvement. Didn't have the heart to ask my helper to go plant in the cold field, which I did for several hours today, all bundled up with microwaveable warmers. So...one more row, and it can certainly wait until I get to it.
Went out to show my helper the new collards field and discovered half my rototiller sitting out there. Broken at the shear pin hole, I just know I jinxed myself as I went out today, thinking distinctly, ok new engine on tiller, rest works great, reliable season ahead. Snap. Never heard it happen of course. So later I go online to find the parts diagram for Agrifab who makes this for DR, hopefully a stub shaft. I need to get this fixed pronto, use this rig quite a bit. Which is likely why metal fatigue finally set in. Nothing to hit in the ground...no rocks, roots.
Trees are starting to bloom. They won't like tonight but still pretty.
