well made it in by 3, that's some improvement. Didn't have the heart to ask my helper to go plant in the cold field, which I did for several hours today, all bundled up with microwaveable warmers. So...one more row, and it can certainly wait until I get to it.
Went out to show my helper the new collards field and discovered half my rototiller sitting out there. Broken at the shear pin hole, I just know I jinxed myself as I went out today, thinking distinctly, ok new engine on tiller, rest works great, reliable season ahead. Snap. Never heard it happen of course. So later I go online to find the parts diagram for Agrifab who makes this for DR, hopefully a stub shaft. I need to get this fixed pronto, use this rig quite a bit. Which is likely why metal fatigue finally set in. Nothing to hit in the ground...no rocks, roots.

Trees are starting to bloom. They won't like tonight but still pretty.

I'm searching for a trailblazing golf cart. I really liked my Yamaha but out here because of the distance and roads I will need a gas model. I really like the bed configuration on this model. It has everything except turn signals and brake lights and geared up to go 35MPH.

For that kind of money ...... why not find a good condition, slightly used Polaris Ranger or the like?

21 here, going to 14 tonight. At least it isn’t snowing, yet...

Drew, congrats on the potato harvester connection. I go to a local diner here like that, the “ table of truth” is the place to be. I’ve been going there for years. It’s kinda like Cheers! Without the beer. I like going there, the waitress and cook / owner know me by name. I forgot my wallet one day, the owner laughed, said this one on me. Try that at McDonald’s. My dad comes up here from Florida, it’s the one spot he wants to go. I’ve talked to the fire marshal, sheriff, village president, farmers and some bums. All at the same table. Great place.

This is a "golf cart" community, I do not know if "utility vehicles" can be substituted. I do know they have to have turn signals and brake lights, rear view mirror, and I want capabilities to convert the bed in the back to 2 seats. I need to find out about utility vehicles by residents on our roads. I do think a golf cart based vehicle would be easiest to sell out here. Do you think the golf course would allow the knobby tires???? Your suggestion brings up a lot of interesting questions.

Are gas utility vehicles as quiet as gas golf carts?

And then there is insurance to consider on the public roads if you use your vehicle for other than golf.

Just build a carrier (if there isn't one already) for the clubs and bag. If you get stopped tell the cop that you are going golfing. Whether or not, you are now.

Most of the "lifted" golf carts I've seen, come with "traction" tires like your picture Don. They'd be way better on your trails than typical golf cart tires. Could be that what works on trails and what's allowed on golf course may not be in harmony.

I wasn't aware that UTV's may not be approved in your Community.

My dad goes to Mcdonalds almost every day for breakfast, since my mom died. On his last birthday he told them it was his birthday, and they paid for his breakfast, and brought him out an apple pie after, since they didn't have cake..
So yea, Mcdonalds does do that.

Down to 22 already., upper teens later at least. Couple of days of rain and mixed precipitation over the next little bit. Just hope nothing freezes.

I’m looking at daily drivers again, can’t decide if I want to stick with mid sized performance SUV or go to a pickup again.

They have started pretreating roads. Monday AM might be fun, NOT.

Not much accomplished today, as scheduled. Ran into town for lunch, 5guys, then finished off a cold stone gift card after. Been carrying the gift card at least 5 yrs. Quick look at tractor supply for jeans, but they only seem to carry for short people.

Went back into town for supper, eat at an old seafood place that I had never tried before, was really good. Had a crab cake that was all crab, no filler.

Barn fire this evening, a few roads over, 8 horses died. Sad.
