You'll like it Cat. You'll have to drill a hole, for a 5/8" bolt, in each side of your bucket. I suggest a step tapered drill bit.

Make sure the PTB is seated well on your existing bucket cutting bar, when you mark your hole location, on the inside of your bucket.

I notice your cutter bar is welded to the bucket. My cutter bar is bolted. Should I take it off or leave in place?

I would leave it in place. The PTB is designed to fit over the original cutter bar and will work with a bolt-on.

You might notice my mounting marker is an oval. Drill your hole near the rear of that oval. Once you mount the PTB, leave the bolts a bit loose and push against a tree, post, etc. to really well seat the PTB on your cutter bar. I just pushed against two trees about 4' apart, set brake, and finished tightening the bolts.

I suspect many of the "locals" here have webbed feet. Wifey's ancestors go back to the 1600's around here. There is a church named after her 8th great-grandfather in Northampton, MA- The Jonathan Edwards Church.

There are some small communities around here like that, too, Jay. You are either from there, or you are not. Even if you move there from a nearby town or area, you are still seen as an outsider. A walk through just about any local cemetery reveals a handful of family names occupy about 90% of that real estate. I grew up in a city about 25 miles west of here, and would be considered an outsider if my Mother's family wasn't from this area (many still are). Same with my Wife, who is the third generation of her family on our land.

Thank you all! Mom was alert and talking, she blew out her candle and ate about half a piece of coconut cake, she,Ellen and I split a big piece. Best day she has had in a couple of weeks, but next day could be down again. Thankful her birthday went well.

My truck appears to be fine, the NAPA replacement O-ring failed and blew out of the filter housing, it’s the replaceable element style and was just done about two weeks ago. NAPA store is picking up the tab.
