good morning all. Half an inch of rain last night, definitely needed.
Mowed all the lawn yesterday, was greening up a little but still unhappily brown.

2 1/2 hour drive down to Wilmington today to see my sick friend, and also to look at an RV at dealer there.
Want to see if I can find a comfortable place to sit in salon/living room, most rv's, like boats, have cheap foam cushions that give zero
back support. It all looks good, but doesn't feel good.. The unit I'm looking at is very small, doubt I could bring my own chair with me.

It's been unsettling to me trying to plan future, but basically told realtors next spring. That gives me all winter to clean up things that never got done when I moved in five years ago. Had hoped to get ten years here, will make it to six. Realtor said no comps in three local counties, my place is somewhat unique here, which hopefully means I'll get my investment out. They said they already had someone to show it to, but I said no. They just want to get paid, I want to max out my fun here and am in no rush to leave. Just have to do it before stock market crashes. Yesterday was sure an expensive day in the market.

Finally got a rain yesterday...hit fast, ran me into the barn while string trimming...was nice sitting in there watching rain blow and listening to it hit the tin roof. Was too brief, but relaxing.

Had a good hike at the battlefield park forest yesterday...walked up on a deer, about 5 yards away...couldn't believe how well behaved Coco was.

Good morning. 20 lambs away to market this morning. With the closure of the nearest livestock market and dissapointment at another, these are going direct to slaughter, with prlce dependenant on deadweight, carcase condition and the direction of tomorrow's wind.

Got scolded today for transfering to chair without supervision.

What recklessness, you thrill seeking adrenaline junkie. Keep on with that steady improvement :thumbsup:

PJ, nice to hear of your wife taking the time to rebuild the table instead of it being thrown away. Eco friendly and no doubt very satisfying too.

Coffee is done brewing. 68° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 80° with possibility of thunderstorms in afternoon. Cut lawn today. First time I have made it past 5 day all summer. Maybe it should have been cut yesterday to it was to warm and had wife's Dr. appointment. I have a Dr appointment.
Yesterday was one of those dreaded Dr appointments. Betty's weight has dropped to 90 lbs. Along with breathing problems. She has a very hard time swallowing. Which makes it very hard to swallow food. Most of her food intake is soup. In the near future she will get a feeding tube. She is going to need some serious prayers.

Buckeye, Randy and others recovering hope recovery continues. Prayers sent.

Wngsprd, would not chase a deer. But she would smell out any droppings from a passing deer. Coco did good.
