Good morning all. Fairly nice here although just above freezing, will warm up a bit later. Got a friend coming over soon to move and resort my lumber pile. Sold a lot of it so now have room to repile by size. Heavy stuff though, full 2 inch thick by 6 -8-10-12 inch's wide and some as long as 20 feet, all of it is fir.

Coffee is in the pot. 32 degrees this morning. Light snow heading to 35 then some sun. Off to my mothers place today to help decorate her place for the holidays.

32 degrees here right now, spent much of yesterday cutting up the broken off cedar tree limbs from the storm for bonfire wood, dragged the brush parts back to my burn pile, and heaped up more snow for the kids next door. Have no idea what I am going to do today and don't really care all that much either. LIFE IS GOOD.

The wife and I have not exchanged Xmas gifts in at least 25 years either. I guess we always figured if we wanted something bad enough we would fined a way to get it. Makes Xmas shopping a lot easier also.

Funny though, I buy a tractor and tell everyone it's for my wife. My wife buys a JD Gator and tells everybody it's for me. Hey it works for me.

Wife used to mow with my Deere 318 all the time, when I purchased my 4210 she said fine go ahead and buy it as long as it is something I can drive (hydro and ps) but she has never sat on it. She purchased a Honda ATV back in '99 and I added a winch and snowplow blade so she could push snow with it, after all it's her ATV but she never wants to use it. Lucky me !! :laughing:

40 F this morning, but only going to 44 according to forecast. 50% chance of showers today going to 70% tonight and tomorrow. Gonna be a damp weekend. We can use the rain and at least it's not frozen precip, so I can't complain. It's the kind of weather we can expect here in the fall.

32 and headed for 35. At least that's what the weather guessers say. Coffee is starting, got a late start today. Lunch with a friend today, then some other stuff this afternoon. Might get the Kubota out - but the ground is pretty soft yet, it hasn't frozen up.

Back from the barn. Got 7 eggs so far. Need to pickup some straw today, then clean out the coop and goat pen this afternoon. I think I might scrape a spot out with the bota, let the chickens have some ground to scratch at. I was going to build a range shelter for them, the neighbor gave me a couple sheets of roof tin, but I haven't figured out a design yet.

Wife and big girls go to a special Cristmas Tea at Church today and baby daughter and i get a Daddy date (not sure what we will do yet).

After that LstInThot & his clan come over for a bonfire & maybe we go hit the drive through Christmas lights that are around the corner.

I need to finish primering my new mailbox so I can apply color, the old one just keeps getting worse.

Tractor needs a refuel and the toplink adjusted.

Looks like it will be a nice weather weekend as well.

Time to put up Christmas decorations and go Christmas shopping!

34 here and headed into the 40's. Maybe rain? Going let the critters out soon, then gear up and go help my wife today at her shop, plus give our 2 boxers a bath. Then back home for a few chores. Did some tractor time yesterday, clearing snow. Have a good one, I gotta get a coffee!!!!

33 here, wife and I are going to a belated TG day dinner at my step mothers later tonite...until then I will be in my basement shop, I am repairing and modifying a 6 foot high, 3 foot wide, 16 inch deep oak entertainment center I found at Goodwill, want a small computer hutch for our bedroom.
