Hit 93 here about two hours ago, very, very dry now. Going to take my dad in law (former Fisher Body shift foreman) to the one day annual Oldsmobile Homecoming Show tomorrow.

I honestly don't know how you guys with cows, horses, pigs, goats, ducks, chickens, etc. manage to care for them the way you do. It takes a lot of devotion and special care that the majority of people who only have cats and/or dogs never have the responsibility of doing. My congratulations !!

Just came in from watering the garden sets, 76 degrees now and very muggy.

Got my coffee poured. 58 degrees this morning. With clear skies. Heading to 86 with lots of sun. Converting my car over to be towed with a tow bar. Making a drop hitch. Hope I get the welding done before it get hot out.

So much work to be done today! Looking to mow around 10 acres and pull about 50 T-post that are not being used any more. Also, my husband which never really visits the farm is coming out to use the chainsaw to cut up two cherry trees that came down in my fields. While he is there I am going to have him build me the chain drag that I have been sitting on the parts for a while. So, on my second load of laundry and have stripped and remade the guest bed and will mop the floor kitchen before I head the the farm. I find that I am ok with the weather if I start when its cool. Hope you all are having a great morning too!

73 and sunny (with a 4 mph breeze) .... predicted high is in the mid 80's today .... only 10% chance of rain ....

Looks like spraying the lawn today might be a workable option ....

Finished installing the new water heater last evening .... no leaks, no drips .... :thumbsup:

The nice hot shower I had afterwards was quite enjoyable.

Also managed to clear the clogged condensate drain line on the furnace as well.

I was going to go work on the lawn, but the heat is too much. I am just sitting this one out.

Good afternoon all. Still in moving mode, chain sawed on giant pyracantha (w/thorns) last day and 1/2 day. Buches and shrubs had not been trimmed and have moved 5 p/u loads plus one small trailer (4X8X3). It has been in the 90's in the afternoon and rained this morning. A/C needs freon, and have cleaned the condenser. couple of days and the worst is over :thumbsup:
