I had one of those a few years ago. I am allergic to the local they used, so toughed it out. Can't say that it was pleasant, but was "tolerable", if you are good at mind over matter.

This is my 5th lumbar. so far "they" have had a 50% success rate getting a spinal fluid sample. the study is working on the proteins in spinal fluid vs amyloid plaque build up in the brain, trying to predict when Alzheimer's symptoms will show in people.

73 this morning going to low 90s today. Was very humid yesterday with bright sunshine today more of the same but looking for cool down by weekend. Anyone working outside be careful

I will not count Sunday, but this could be two whole days with no rain. The heat indexes since Sunday are at 100. Today, no exception.

I started raking last night when I got home. Soaked to the bone in 5 minutes. Amazing!

Hazy, hot and humid. But dry.... (well, no rain).

Back to drinking iced coffee. 73° with cloud/fog mix this morning. Heading to 90° with thunderstorms in the afternoon. A stray thunder storm hit us yesterday evening. Got over 1" of rain. Needed it after the warm dry spell we are having. Heading to my mothers house to work on getting it cleaned out for selling/renting.

AT 0635 it's partly cloudy, 74 with 94% humidity. Forecast is for a high of 88 with only 30% chance of rain. Today might be the second day in two weeks without rain. Running up to Marianna this morning. Stops at TSC, Walmart and thrift stores. Then down to Blountstown. I'm buying a new router for work, then installing it. If it's not raining when I get that done, I'm picking up new [to us] table and chairs for the dining room. We bought them two weeks ago, but the rain has kept me from getting them home.

Dropped all the way to 80 overnight, 84 now, mid 90's later with heat indices of 105-110 again. Gotta work outside some today, but I'm old, not stupid, so I will limit it. Ask the cats if they wanted to go out for a while, one just stretched and rolled over, the other looked at me like;You must think I'm stupid.

good morning its another hot and humid one 72 going up to 88 .i don't think there is going to be much work outside today.

It started out here yesterday morning at a record low of 63 F and never made it past 70 F all day. I went to my garden while the rain was slowed and I could feel the heat radiating from the ground in my cucumber patch. This morning it is 69 F and a forecast high of 83 F. It's slowly creeping back up toward the 90s. I have 2.8" of rain from this storm so far and a 60% chance of more showers today. Let's just say it's hard to wipe the grin off my face.

Stopped by Sam's Club this morning and happened by a bunch of watermelon. Noticed they were from Texas and thought of this thread as I loaded up a couple.

Too hot and humid to do much outside till around 4 PM so maybe start a project then, spray some weeds or mow around some trees. Summer is going way too fast this year.

Just testing my new router. Walmart was out of the one I planned on buying, so I upgraded to the Belkin N600. Upload time for picture 18 seconds. With the old one it was taking five minutes or more per picture.

Currently 97 degrees here with bright sun and no breeze...which is why I am staying indoors. One of my cats has been out since 9 am, it was almost this hot yesterday and he stayed out until 10 pm....have no idea how he can do that.
