Went to a local Steam and Gas engine show on Saturday and found this little gem there. The guy who made this has more time on his hands than I would ever have:ashamed:. It's a replica of an Allis Chalmers WD45.:thumbsup: The last picture is the replica beside the real WD45.

That guy has some skills! We have a local guy who shows a 1/3 scale Case steam tractor, it was built by his dad. Beautiful work!

I go in for a MRI in the am. I broke my ankle on a mountain bike 2 years ago, it has never healed up right, and has been getting worse, It hurts to put weight on it. I need to get my eyes x rayed 1st, since I worked in a factory and may have some steel fragments in there. This getting old sucks, but I guess it beats the alternative

300, some would say that with age comes wisdom. You know, like knowing to stay off mountain bikes.

Wishing you the best. My hips hurt everyday from just getting up. I don't want to think about how bad it would be with broken bones thrown in the mix.

71 degrees in falling rain, high of 81. I don't get it. We have a nice forecast for the week, and then two days later
I wake up to read we have a flash flood warning today. ??
Sure glad i got some field mowing done yesterday, not going to get done today.

300, sounds like you need the 100,000 mile full service like I got.
Just make sure they put your oil cap back on tightly and be sure they grease the
binding parts. Good luck with your tests, hope they find an easy fix. Just plug the OBD
scanner into your belly button and read out the error codes.

Good morning! 80˚ before sunrise heading to over 100˚ as it has every day in August in central Tx. All the weekend showers missed us - again. Next best chance for rain is Thursday when the wind shifts from the North for a day.

I think I jump on the tractor at daybreak and do some dirt work on a drying up pond, and maybe later look for pipe.

Hey! Good morning, thanks for the well wishes on my traffic incident yesterday. I am fortunate! A slight bump sent me across two lanes! In an instant. Called the company, they said get two estimates. I looked hard last night, before the sun went down, and I have a lot of scratches, the mirror is gashed (but not broken) and the rear (driver side) back seat passenger door plastic is toast. Must have got me with his tire right over my rear.

This AM, I just went through another closure right on the same route. One lane getting by, a lot (more than three fire trucks responded). That will make life miserable for those commuters the rest of the day. Be careful out there!

Last night I finsihed my painting, today the wife gets to have the fun job of removing the blue tape. I always like doing that. It is rewarding to see the fruits of your efforts. We added a 12X40 foot building, replacing our 100 year old 8X40 foot chicken coop. It will be a party house overlooking the back 40.

Boomers moving through today, mid 80's. After the "flood watch" type rain expected, the weather people are saying get ready for - awesome.

good morning pouring the rain just got a storm, got a bad storm yesterday evening. as soon as I get my monitor in line with my chair so my neck is not stiff after 10 minutes i'll be back. too many self important politicians, lobbyists and lawyers driving around in a concentrated area.
Most on the phone, or texting. All of whom believe that lane control and courteous driving are for someone else.
Turn signals? what are they? Exiting across three lanes of traffic? No problem, go for it lady....
And then you have the limo with the minister of Togo in it, whose driver has never seen snow before.
makes for an interesting slice of humanity out on the road, in heavy traffic, all together, mixing a huge amount
of bad driving all at one time.

Used to live there. Annandale and Alexandria Virginia. Urban sprawl on a national capital scale.
Need to go West or North, or quite a ways South... East of the capital is no treat.

Our son and his family live in Front Royal and he and his wife drive 60+ miles each way every day to NOVA just avoid living there. The part of the 200 mile trip I hate most is the section of beltway that is only about 25-30 miles of the trip.

Weather is about normal, whatever that means, most of the predicted heavy rain is missing us looks like.

The 5AM crowd in Northern VA is most suspect. I doubt they are the "self important" types at this time of the day. Those come out later!

I just checked and this AM's mishap is still there. I was again fortunate enough to just get by. And I "retired" last year, and yet I still come into DC. I think there is a message in these incidents for me.....
