Good Afternoon. 1500, partly cloudy, 82* with 56% humidity. Tonight's forecast is for a low of 57* with no chance of rain.
Well I got my sister to the airport in Panama City, but it was not without a little excitement. Last night when I double checked on our leaving time, I heard 0830, and she says she said 0730. When she called at 0745 to ask why I was late, I was still in the shower. I had been wanting to find out what speed it would take for my Camry to reach 2000 rpm's on the tachometer. It turns out it is 71 mph. But I got her there in time.
Since I was in town, I went by Walmart to do a little shopping {I had hurried out of the house without a belt, and I was about to lose my pants. I figure it won't hurt to have an extra belt} Also stopped by my favorite breakfast joint, Charlie Coram's Place. Then came on straight to work.

Almost every time I get the Spanish omelette, which is cooked with bacon, ham, peppers, onions, tomatoes and mushrooms, and has a Spanish sauce with more peppers that you pour on top of it. I always mix it up with grits to help cool the peppers off a little. But since I have been watching my weight lately, I only had two eggs over easy, grits, bacon and an English muffin. Still good, but I was missing the fire of the Spanish omelette.

Good evening all. Going to Taum Sauk first thing in the morning, family goes hiking as part of my younger brother's birthday celebration. BBQ lunch and hiking if weather permits. Weather guys are giving mixed signals on rain chances.

It's 51* now, down from a high of 75* this afternoon. Endless summer :laughing:
I used a new Fiskars lopper today to brush out a boundary line that was getting overgrown and hard to find the blazes. It was a nice day to be in the woods. The lopper is a bit slower than a chain or brush saw, but much more peaceful and no need to drag a gas can and oil jug along.
Supposed to be dry and cooler over the next several days with some clouds and highs around 60*.

looking at the radar, geez Toppop, it's going to be iffy. Better than you thought, but the storm has fallen apart and what's left is directly off the Delaware coast blowing rain directly West at you...but at least it looks kinda intermittent. Good luck.
Rain is now off the forecast here, though everything is so wet and soggy there's not much to do outside.
Which means the garage is going to get a load of equipment and I will crank up Jimmy Buffet and change oil all day.
A fine way to spend a Saturday. and then Sunday, the entire neighborhood will be out trying to suck up the leaves that blew everywhere.

good morning 58 degrees man thats a change, i can sit on the porch and drink my coffee again. got to fix some fence this morning. got nothing to keep in but if i let it go pretty soon it's all down. hope everything works out well for all you folks today.

Our house is full of guess, many more at the local hotels and the boys are off duck hunting this morning,
Later on they are heading out to flyfish for a few hours. Boys will be boys and if these darn knees were a bit better I'd be out there with them LOL

Endless Summer is actually the name of the cruise where we're having the show. 4000 cars registered for the overall event, we would normally get 200-400 but the weather is story. One last prayer for a miracle.

Need some coffee to get the brain working. 51° with some low fog this morning. Heading to 74° with partly cloudy skies. The good weather has me avoiding doing the fall projects. List keeps getting longer. Should be a good day to repair the plastic shutters on house.
