David, you have a whole lot going for you right now that you seem to forget about. Three great girls, the youngest of which adores you, for starters. You have your health and more real friends than most of us would count in a lifetime. Most people don't have that.
Years ago I went through the same thing. If I hadn't, I never would have met Miss Right and wound up with the perfect wife for me. In retrospect, I had to go through the fire to reach the other side, even though I went kicking and screaming the whole way. It took longer than I wanted and had more pitfalls that I cared for but I made it. I once called a depression hot line (1970's) and the babe on the other end needed counseling herself. Took me an hour to get her back on track and then I realized how fortunate I was but stuck in an unfortunate situation.
So, there for the grace of God go I. And you. Things may look difficult, and they are, but you have the true grit to endure. It could be worse. And when it's all over, the party is at your place. No saturated fats for me, however, so we need some BBQ fish. Beer, however, is OK.

+1 Similar story for me. David, you got to go through some stormy weather to find a rainbow. Double down on your excersize or go for a motorcycle ride. Call some friends.
Ron, congrats to you and the lovely Mrs.! How much longer til you come to Texas? Is that after Thanksgiving? Note: I think the coast is clear, TxDon is done with all the hardwork, but he might have some special labor intensive projects stored up for you!
Wayne B, would love to see a few pic's of the wedding. How nice to have a huge tent like that. What a load of work though. Did you have to work your rear off?

off to the hospital on a quiet sunday morning. I love the drive on Sunday mornings, wish I didn't have so much practice with it...Nadene is trying to figure out if she's still hungry while being on a 2200 calorie a day IV food supply. No more bringing food into the room...well, she's on track to come home tomorrow, and the IV food actually should truly make her life easier. Astronaut food... And she's studying the Woodall book and I think we may be off to Luray VA next week. My oldest brother lives in Delaplane, and it's only an hour away, so we get to visit with him, who I truly miss. His advice, while lawyerly...
