Good Morning! Feels like a winter morning - windy and 55˚. It's cloudy, heading to the high 60's and then dropping to the 40's tonight as this cool front continues to push through.

I burned another 10 gallons of diesel yesterday mowing the 2' and 3' weeds to 8' brush down. I still have about 20 more hours of mowing to get in this coming week.

I found several areas that I have neglected too long and the woody brush is too big to brush hog. I'll have to get that later with the FEL and BH. I initially though it was 5 years since I mowed all the open areas last but now I realize it's been 15, time does fly.....

51 this morning heading up into 60s for highs, it will get colder as the week progresses kinda like December I think. But do not fear Indian Summer will show up around mid November lasting maybe into Thanksgiving. Kitchen redo starts soon so no home cooked meals for three weeks or so. Cherry cabinets new island granite counter tops, one new Avantan oven to go with 36 in wall oven we have now. New wine cooler and probably replace refrigator with 42 in one. Wife is most excited as this is one more thing getting done on to do list for house. We still have three doors to replace redo downstairs and master bathroom. Probably when I am in my 70s this will be finished. She and I both like doing these things. If I was a dog would have to live at FGs place. Sam don't get to cold this weekend and David(MossFlower)seek the help others suggest this situation can ruin your life if you are not careful. Now off to work on fence. Mid 40's this morning here as well, 60's later. Cloudy with a chance of showers today, I need to mow the grass one last time but between the sciatica and the upper respiratory crap that Lynn and I keep passing back and forth, not sure it's gonna happen today.

Well, our temperature has dipped to Roy and WayneB territory. It is 35 F this morning, just barely above first frost. That's two days in the 30s this week and the trees will surely have a turning response to this. Next week is postcard weather with 70s during the daytime and 50s at night. October is really a last hurrah month before fall takes a turn towards winter. I have a big lawn to remind me that work comes with nice weather. Still, it will be a joy cutting grass after the rain and in these temperatures. No dust and no sweat. What more could you ask for?

Bit of a follow up...

Skies are clear, so probably no rain...which is good.

Had breakfast with Sigarms, one of our TBN brothers...quite pleasant...fun, actually. Good chow (cheap too...if you ever get to Vermont, come north on I-89 and get off at the Bethel exit. Go left and at the end of the road you'll see Eaton's Sugar House directly across. Good chow, plenty of it and you won't break your budget).
It was great meeting another TBNer!
My next stop will be in Rhode Island and try to explain to Island Tractor the reality of the world...

Good morning all. 44F at the start, forecast for 59F mostly cloudy. Had a good rain last night officially .4 in. Forecast was occasional showers . Game was great, Granddaughter had a good time. Finish back wall today if it gets warm and dry enough
