Looks like the members up north will have to hang on big storm Thursday into Friday then next week some of the coldest temps seen since the mid 80s with another snow storm for 6th thru the 8th and more cold. We Virginia boys may even see some white stuff if not this week then the next with some zero readings possible.

Here in Florida our sinkholes often form when the groundwater level drops. We don't have too many of them up here in North Florida. {thank the Good Lord}

LAST Day of 2013... It has been one of the worst years of my entire life with many, many deep dark pits of despair but I made it and I'm doing better now. I am almost happy even. I will be happy again and I know it. 2014 will be better no matter what happens (kinda can't get worse).

Many of you have been very much a good thing for me this year, and all of you my online buddies are very important to me. God Bless you all.

I am looking forward to the new year much more than in the past.

For those of us who had a seriously crummy year, there is always another who had a wonderful one.
That gives us all hope to hang in there and wait for our good year.
have to keep looking forward, too much pain in the past at times. Leave it behind and make something good of the future.
And since happiness comes from within, make sure you get plenty of seat time on your tractor!

We were listening to the weather last night and they started talking heavy snow Friday with a high of 23 and low of 13. This morning it seems the snow is gone but its supposed to be 23-25 with high winds and an overnight low of 8. We haven't had that for several years. I'll take the weather from 2012 any day.

Man, I think winter is coming to VA now for real. It is 30 outside, with that being the high at night predicted for the next few. Nothing like the rest of the country, but old man winter has been acting odd so far this year.

For those who have had a bad year, all I can say is stay positive, I hope 2014 will be better for you.

As I look back on 2013, all I can say is that my family and community were blessed, as was I this past year.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 43° with rain this morning. Heading to 47° with a soaking rain all day. Got over 2" of rain since yesterday morning. Went to take car out yesterday evening. Ir's stuck in a mud hole. Need to call AAA to get it out. Do not need to go anywhere until next year.
