I've got a trace of freezing rain going on right now but it will warm up to 60 later today.

I was supposed to be at Dulles Airport now for a flight to STL, but they cancelled that flight yesterday and rebooked me at 12:30 (lost half a day on a 1.5 day trip). In STL it snowed like mad yesterday and my customer got sent home early and we suspect they will not open today due to snow. That would cost me another 1/2 day of meetings. Finally my key meeting for Thursday morning (the one that drove this whole trip) cancelled.

I suspect I'm going no where today but the office... Which is getting heavy freezing rain right now...

Friday I leave for a ski trip to Taos New Mexico...

32 right now freezing rain then temp shoots up to 54 later in the afternoon. Sunny tomorrow high in the 40s then something for weekend but nobody knows what

32 degrees also in freezing rain, ice pellets, just plain nasty out there. and I have a 9am appt to get my stitches out, and the suburban is hooked up to my trailer.
Hmmm, well, we will see how the VW does in ice...I'll get there, we'll see if the doc does. Luckily the temp is going up.
I bet this is seriously nasty a little North of here...

everyone seems to have the winter blues...need to turn those fancy lights on and cheer up...maybe I'll sit with the
potted plants for awhile today and get some happy sun...

28 degrees and snow is falling at a rate of over an inch per hour
Feels funny to be seating here and not having anything to do with snow removal
Started a different pain med yesterday and it is working will be helpful with the PT for sure

19F here this morning with a high today of 26F. Had 2 inches of snow overnight and another 2 inches expected today. Nightmare drive into work this morning with high winds causing visibility to be less then ideal.

6*F and barometer is falling. Maybe we will get some more of the fluffy white stuff. One can only pray. the saying up here is, 'if it is snowing, it isn't -50 below'. I would rather have the snow.

Drinking second cup of coffee. 47ｰ with clouds this morning. Heading to 69ｰ with sun and a good breeze. Yesterdays forecast weather never happened. Stayed in low 50's with light mist all day. So roof maintenance project is on hold. Winds are going to keep me off roof today. Weather in Midwest and NE does not look good.

Good Morning. 0835, overcast, 68F with 94% humidity. Forecast high of 66F {?} with 20% chance of rain, and a low of 36F tonight. We had rain early, but it's gone now. It has cleared up a lot in the last few minutes, since I took this picture. It looked like we were going to get soaked, but the west wind blew it over to someone else.



Today is house cleaning day, and I have got the second load of clothes in the washer. If it works out I will go into work later to water the lobby plants, then take Margie to supper.

You guys be careful out in the snow and ice.

what a miserable morning. I missed the call from the hand surgeon by two minutes saying don't come in, their building has no power, so off I go in the sleet and ice, thankfully at 33 degrees and raining. I got there fine, and of course waited an hour for nothing. Back home I come, or tried to. Trees are coming down all over the place since I left, the main road was blocked totally. then I went the back way and saw no less than five trees covering at least half the road on the way home. I hope it warms up quickly or the damage is going to be serious.

I left with my backup gen on, since 7am and it's still running. Must be lines down everywhere.
