coffee pot is still brewing, 47 degrees going to 75. .
Yesterday was fun too, finished all my field mowing in about five hours and was kept company by a hawk looking for mice and across the street a guy in an old farmall was tedding(?) his hay and while I rode in airconditioned dust free comfort, he was out there in the sun, dust swirling all around him, reminded me of when I was young doing our own farm fields. No wonder the dermatologist is working overtime on me now.
As much fun as yesterday was, it did not start out well. The cleaning ladies did a beautiful job cleaning my house, and certainly the utility sink next to the washer.
I just wish they had put the drain hose from the washer back into the utility sink when they were done. Yup, I dumped an entire load of wash water into the basement.
well, at least it was a little sudsy...fans and dehumidifier are running like crazy down there after I mopped the worst up. We used to have that hose tied up ,but when we got a new utility sink, the tiedown disappeared. It really ought to be plumbed permanently but for now, I am putting a zip tie on that cord.
am putting the box blade and york rake back on this afternoon to smooth out the remnants of last years's field garden. Boy did the quick hitch finally make taking that hugely heavy mower off easier, and my weight box back on. (Oh, I also moved about ten loads of dirt yesterday.) And today off goes the weight box and on goes something else, and so far, I can do it by myself. well, I can if it works, and sometimes as we all know those hitches don't line up with implements or vice versa.
