We never had a problem with Deer eating them, they do walk thru there but not once did they eat them.We have a ton of them Hostas in the Yard.

Ron...that's amazing...must be a difference in what is available in Wisc for them to eat and what is available here in GA.... we have a lot of developing going on which destroys their natural feeding areas...maybe that is what is driving them to gardens and flower beds here ?

Good afternoon all. 75F and overcast this morning, going to 95F, sunny and light breeze this afternoon.
Spent 2 hours meeting with real estate agent, who said hose is worth less than we were hoping for, sigh. Now have to consider whether or not two interview one more or not. Hotter temp. than I want to mow in!

Bob have had deer in the yard for several years. They attack our roses but not our hostas.

We heard the same thing from the realtor contracted to sell our house in PA (before the move to Vermont). I put the house on Craigslist for what I thought was a good price for a quick sale....got pretty close to the price too.
Frankly, our realtor was looking for a quick sale so she lowballed the price.
So, you tell him or her what you want for the sale price...if they can't do it, then tell them to get lost. If you don't get anybody looking at the house, you'll know you've priced it too high...but don't take the realtor's word for it.

I do suggest you try Craigslist...doesn't cost anything and you might do better...

Roy, we are considering Craigslist, another realtor and an independent appraisal. We have no basement in an area where basements are very popular. If the banks won't loan we cut the potential buyers by quite a bit :(

It's up to the buyer to arrange financing...
Do try CL...at least see what kind of response you get.

I think I'm in a Chinese restaurant LOL Ended up doing the base level at 64 inches, glass is 36. Makes it convenient. Now wife is talking about hosting a dinner for 12 just to christen it :)

Decided to go with the placements vs a runner.

Thanks guys. Like I said before, functional as opposed to fine furniture. This isn't a fine furniture house or lifestyle.
Couldn't help but think back to growing up, oldest of 8 kids so dinner at table was for 10. Then again we were all smaller then.
Wife and I actually sit on a corner, plenty of room. This past week table was great for eight, but without the larger lazy Susan a lot of ups and downs to pass food.

Poured first cup of iced coffee. 71° with rain and thunderstorms this morning. Heading to 81° with sun in the afternoon. Hope things dry out enough to let me get started on my yearly waxing projects. Lawnmower, Tractor, and Motorhome. I always start on smaller items before the bigger motorhome. The shine on them gets me in the mood to do larger ones.
Good Morning All.
