55F & mostly clear now. Low-70's today with a slight chance of showers early.

The field contractor is off to an early start this morning, rolled in a little after 6 am. Loading stumps and trucking them to the stump dump is the current activity.

Another vote for the angle grinder, for hardened steel it's the way.

I need rain for the plants and as an excuse to take a rest. Too many trips up and down the ladders. I do hope to get a couple of hours of mowing done after the dew dries, and before the rain.

Was 66 when I left this AM. W/E was a blur, road trip moving last kid to college.
Sunday, was suppose to rain, that did not happen, well it sort of did. Stupid weather. After the morning showers came through, I waited until the humidity was at its peak and broke out the lawn mower and weedwhacker. Then I proceeded to attempt dehydration. That didn't work either, so I called it a day around 6PM and settled down for the night. The day looks to be "nice", but right now I am sitting in an office and wish I was elsewhere.

Good morning, 64F heading to 75F. Busy weekend, moved more stuff over to new house, had a birthday party for oldest son, and check in on my mom at the hospital. She seems worse off now then when she went in almost 2 weeks ago. Still dehydrated and blood pressure is still high. Looks like they have the sore on her foot under control as well as her blood sugar but her kidneys are still not functioning properly. Catscan showed know ill effect from her falling and hitting her head last week, so thats a plus.

Good Morning. 1015, thunderstorm, 87F {100 heat index} with 75% humidity. Forecast high of 91F with 80% chance of thunderstorms today, and a low of 74F tonight. The rain has passed for now but the thunder is sticking around. It thundered for over an hour before the rain started too.

I have my lifting and breakfast behind me, and 4 hours to kill until I have to leave for work. I increase the amount of weight I lift at the start of every month, and I'm still struggling with this month's increase, even though the month is over half gone. September may be the first month that I don't increase it.

Gary, prayers for your mom. Mine is coming home today, so the real work is just fixing to start for Sister and me. After 3 weeks of her not getting her own meals, she is not going to just spring back into the kitchen. Maybe Sister will handle breakfast and supper, and I will take care of lunch. Not sure how much help Home Health Care is going to be.

90 degrees at 11:30 heading for 93. Just got back from first PT after shoulder surgery. Not as bad as I was expecting but I am glad I took a pain pill before I went.
Going over to property to show my son how I would like lean-to on barn built to store hay.

probably the only time we let another person with a very sharp object routinely rip away at our body...just not my favorite place for sure.

well guys, you are all right, and you are all wrong, sort of. Well Dave had a good hedge, assuming hardened steel. Which the two arms that came around and clamped the
tires were assuredly not. While carefully cutting to make sure we didn't hit the tire, the actual metal cutting time was under a minute. Short blade, 18tpi.
Mild steel, not hardened. The lock was sure hardened, but not the rest.
I got lucky...

got the boat loaded onto his Jeep and off it went after sitting for two years. Towmaster radial tires carefully checked and remarkably not flat spotted, and air in them had not dropped below 40psi from a 46-48 psi setting over two years. That amazed me. 7 pumps into the bearing buddies; that had dried up a bit for sure, so hopefully the wheel bearings are now happily greased. I followed my friend out and it tracked true and off he went. Followed him for about five miles, so the tire was fine. and all was well. He is taking the boat down for me since he is headed to Emerald Isle NC, the beach, later this week and goes by very close.

Didn't get a whole lot done today. Don't know why, but motivation is sorely lacking. Nice day here, I'd like about 6 months of this, then a month of winter, then back to this!!

Good afternoon all. 71F with some fog, overcast. Made it to 84F afternoon popups in the area. Stepson left after cleaning up his stuff he had stored here over the years. Got my ride in, but not much else.

Geeez, dentist turned out to be $264 - EACH, dang X-rays . But at least a good report and next appointment next Feb.

Did pick up my pieces of aluminum for my pool fence project. Thank goodness way cheaper than dentist LOL

Off to neighbors house for Monday Happy Hour.

55F this evening. High was 71 today. Upper 70's tomorrow and dry.

I gathered some rocks today and touched up the driveway topping after the excavator passed over it. Cleaned up a small area in the house yard where a pile of stumps had been.

Dentist cleaning @ 10am tomorrow for me. Don't like it either. I would say I'd rather take a beating but, ... well it is a beating. :laughing:

All this talk about getting your teeth cleaned got me to thinking it was about time for my appointment. And since MSN is so worried about my e-mail being secure, they have locked me out of it. So tonight at work I looked in my wallet for the little card they give you. I found it, and found out my appointment was 18 days ago I have opened a G-mail account so I will stop by tomorrow and give them that address and see if I can reschedule.

46 right now...just took the dog out for a pee...nice early Fall morning! Supposed to hit 77 and clear today...gonna be a pretty day! Think I'll mow the fenced in backyard this afternoon.
