Need to start coffee pot brewing. 51° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 57° with clouds and a cool north wind. Got a good rain overnight. Fall is here. Going to cut down a dead apple tree in what is left of our orchard. That should fill in today's projects.

56F now temps high upper 60's sun might appear every now and than.
Some tress giving up there leaves steady,other tress no signs of leaves coloring.

55F and cloudy @ 06:00 ... rain should be here within an hour or two.

Came down for a little snack: a couple of slices of leftover Guiseppe's pizza and 3 leftover Bob Evan's snausage links ...

Got the 6 lower rake teeth welded onto the rectangular tube last night, now in the process of welding the gussets on. Moving it after that will no doubt be a treat ... it's gettin' heavy ... and with the sharp chisels, somewhat hazardous.

63 degrees going to 80 today. Overnight showers have left, most convenient for outside work.
headed back down to the DMV with my birth certificate. And after watching one lady take the computer test, I heard her identifying
one street sign after another so for sure I studied my little cheat sheet again. Merge, deer crossing, divided highway, yawn.
Then to get the vehicles reregistered, then inspected. Serious time waster but can't be avoided.
I'll be happier when I get the PA plates off my cars.

one of the things boxed away that I miss the most was my microwaveable neck warmer. Finally gave up and ordered a new one from Amazon, and it arrived yesterday. So this morning, in the cool of the morning, with my hot coffee in hand, and my warm neck/back wrap, I was happily comfortable sitting out in the dark watching the sun come up. And hearing the neighborhood coon dogs go into their morning wakeup chorus. All is well.

48F. Our 40%-60% chance of rain yesterday gave us some dampness but I don't think it ever did actually rain in drops, just misty.

Cloudy, low-60's and 80%-90% humidity is the forecast.

David MFW: I've had great results from a chiropractor with your shoulder/arm type of injury or strain. I babied an arm and shoulder for 6 months with no improvement. Three visits to the bone cruncher (including a mild lecture of what was I waiting for?) and it was 100% fixed, pain gone.

Nice driveway project Drew. I sort of wondered if you took your keepsake snow shovels with you when you moved. There must be someway to make them useful against fire ants. :laughing:

Drew, bet that grader ain't hard to run. Now those minis are sweet. You could get a lot of work done in a weekend with them. Drive will be nice.

David, check all four battery connections. The same happened to my Craftsman's Z and the ground from the battery connecting at the motor was loose.

The fall garden was prepared yesterday and I got several hours seat time of clearing trails with the grapple. I cleared about 200 yards - another two miles to go.

62F @ 15:00 and cloudy ... dunno if we ever got any rain ... doesn't look like it.

Well, the pizza and snausages did me in ... never made it back up off the couch.

Gotta go weld those gussets and then some grinding on the upper jaw arms ... then a shower ...

I know it's getting pretty bad when I can't even stand the crud on me ... lol ... :laughing:

Lots of fog this morning so much so no internet or cell phone service. No TBN fix this morning news or weather. Did not regain service until I came off the mountain but only a small inconvenience for the privilege of living here. Another warm day tomorrow but rain/showers for Friday.
