My young helper comes through again ... the guy who he's working with today has a pickup truck load of wood from a job they did today. It's pine ... but it will burn. $20 delivered to our doorstep. Bring it.

temps are dropping and a nice little front is going to pass through, first bringing freezing rain then perhaps some of the white stuff before it ends tonight. Maybe a little dusting. It's going to be so cold out I will probably be able to blow the snow off with my electric leaf blower. But that's tomorrow.

Mother nature just dropped 2" of snow on my area and now the wind has picked up causing white outs and drifting. I think I will wait till morning before blowing out driveway and street before I go to work.

Interesting ride home from work. Left work it was sunny and clear skies with no clouds in sight. 20 minutes later the sun was about covered with the clouds rolling in. 40 minutes later, as I was getting off the interstate, it was starting to snow. A couple minutes after that it was heavy snow. As I was almost home, I could see the sun thru the snow to the west. Wind picked up and the temps are dropping near 0 tonight. At least we didn't get much snow today.

'Bota buttoned up and refilled with fluid, have forward/reverse, power steering, and the FEL and 3PH moves up and down ... so I think we're operational again.

Good thing too ... I need to move these pine rounds they dropped off today - some of which are pretty big - before the other guy shows up tomorrow around noon with a load of oak.

Yeah ... it will produce more creosote and I'll have to clean it more often ... particularly given the fact that it's unseasoned. But I have the brushes and rods to do it

I'm getting another load of oak delivered tomorrow, still have some oak here, so we're burning a mix ... which is better than if I were burning unseasoned pine only.

Make do with what I have available
