Today

Cloudy with 40 percent chance of flurries this morning. Snow beginning near noon. Amount 2 to 4 cm. Wind becoming east 30 km/h gusting to 50 near noon. High zero.

You know it's been cold when zero looks good.

Morning all, sure is cold here, -2F heading to only 1F. Wind is suppose to reach 30mph this afternoon with the windchill of -24F. Wish I was on a cruise ship in the Carribean right now.

Good morning! 41˚ heading to 65˚almost clear skies - nice day. The Jet stream is keeping all that cold air to the East which is fine with me.

I was out washing the car in a t-shirt and shorts yesterday. Of course, like everything I touch lately, the pressure washer didn't come on until I took it apart and fixed the sticking pressure switch. Our Yellow cat of 17 years died peacefully yesterday. He just walked out and laid under a tree to die. We brought him in where it was warmer and he lived for about 4 more hours. Yellow - RIP

Glad the feed truck made it Farmer2009. Sounds like they were prepared for the worst having the wrecker handy.

Eric, I always feel sort of guilty for not raising something. Then we have a -10F February spell with nasty winds and I am cured for another year thinking about going to a barn 3-4 times a day feeding and keeping the water thawed. :laughing: We have a lengthy off-pasture winter season here, generally November through April.
