you will like it after using it for a few weeks when you figure it out.
Good evening all. 33F this morning sunny and wind finally did back off. afternoon high was around 60F. Church, ride, fix granddaughter's car door, striker plate had come loose :( . The back to church for chilli supper and annual report. Still struggling with ISP, they had a server crash and they are not recovered yet, stuff is changing likly due to backups being selectively restored. Then the new laptop in Win8.1 and still behind learning curve :( .

Good Evening. 2135, clear, 57/f with 76% humidity. Our high today was 80F and the forecast low tonight is 52F. It was really nice out. I planted a few rows of green beans in the garden when I came in from work. {thanks to the time change} And I was able to set the clock on my Camry with the cruise set on 62mph, steering with my knee, shielding the sun with one hand and pressing one button with the other. Although I did add a minute to it also, so that was twice the button pressing.

Looks like Happy Harvick is right back in last year's race winning trim. With this new Chase format, he is safely in now. He can take chances the rest of the season.

Hope everyone had a good day,

Larro

It got up to 65 and sunny today - let the wood stove finally go out after over 2 months of continuous burn - a record for us.

First crocus bloomed today.

Nearly all the snow melted.

It must be...

time for another cold spell and snow.

Know just what you mean with that early spring feeling.
I had it too yesterday and sure enough I was back to smashing ice to get the sheep some water this morning.

We have a wet forecast for the afternoon. Good excuse to get inside the unfinished workshop and pull some wiring in.

Not sure if anyone else has seen a Danish/Swedish crime series called "The Bridge" (about a body found on the bridge which links Copenhagen in Denmark with Malmo in Sweden). Anyway, it was a very dark story and every since watching it made bridges seem bad places. Now, thanks to txdon and his fellow builders, I have a much more uplifting image to associate with when someone says "The Bridge". Everyone looks to have had a great time putting together that little bridge and creating a work of art at the same time.
How is it standing, over 10 years on ? Have the cattle got used to it yet ?

36 degrees in unexpected light rain in Princeton NJ, though it should clear out.
after breakfast with my sister, then headed to drop in and say hi to my next older brother, a CPA in our home town of New Hope Pa, and then off to get my dining room table outside of Harleysville. Once loaded, I head to Milton Delaware to stay with friends for the night.

what an awful drive up. I decided to take Route 95 and what a nightmare. Huge accident in Virginia shut down the highway for almost two hours and I wound up being on the road for almost twelve hours. Way too long for me. Every time I take 95 I regret it, though I would not have gotten this pic of David/MFW's exit.

32 out this AM. The big melt yesterday left me with a lot of water in places that need attention. Suppose to be in the low to mid 50's this week with more wet weather coming in.

Drew, 95 seems to always be screwed on the w/e's as of late.

42 this morning and headed to 57 today. Rain starts tonight. Local weatherman says 1.5 inches. River is forecast to crest tomorrow night, but with that much rain I doubt it. I just hope we get some hard rain to try and help settle down this soup.

Good morning! 50˚ - It has been slow raining for 36 hours for a total of 1.5". It is still slow raining, so outdoor projects are on hold. It will clear up tomorrow.

Eric, I have never seen the cows use it. I think they do not like walking on rock. The bridge is excellent.
It has turned a little green and some moss is growing on it - in other words - it's looking better!
I need to reset the last of the steeping stones on the stairs that a flash flood swept away and the wood stair railing is getting soft and will need a new cedar tree.
Also - I have not told anyone one this so SHHHH - I need to finish the other side of the bridge. The pegs are sticking out and I want to cut 4"-6" diameter cedar rounds at different lengths from 4"-10" and glue them on the pegs so it will look like a wood bridge on the north side and rock bridge on the south side. It's one of those retirement project that keeps getting delayed. I will take before/during/after pics - of course.

Good morning all. 27F this morning, calm and mostly sunny. Forecast for 60F, clouding up, light wind. Last patch of snow should be melted today :) . Helping with a table refinish, ride, testing the work on the old 10-speed and migrating laptops. Now have 2 rain periods in 10 day forecast.

40F and bright sun @ 12:15 ...

Major melting going on here ... the sheet of ice on the driveway has really started to turn to slush.

With the higher temps the house has been staying warm ... was 74F most of the day yesterday, even late into the night.

My young helper succeeded in selling Bobbi another tree removal ... so I may have to head over there later to pick up more firewood.

Got the attachment brackets/pivots for the log lift finished and welded on yesterday, will be working on the mounts for the hydraulic cylinder today.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable and productive day.

Thomas,

You know, once your woman sees how cute those little kits are, it will be a done deal ... :D
