Good Afternoon. 1735, mostly cloudy, 81F with 66% humidity. Our high today was 86F and the forecast low for tonight is 65F. I had two trips to Marianna today. The first to have my teeth cleaned and do my shopping. The second to take Margie to the walk-in clinic. She has had a bad two weeks with her sinuses and decided to see a doctor. They gave her over the counter stuff, so she could have done it two weeks ago.

I did a big pot of my black bean + 13 soup today. It's doing it's last little bubble bubble before we dig in.

since most snakes like warmer weather, it is natural I suppose that the further South you go the more snakes
you will find. Right Larro?

We do have more than our fair share of snakes, but none of the indigenous ones worry me. I never kill one unless forced to{ie. have Margie see it close to the house}. Further south, around the Glades it is another matter. Andrew, when it came through, wrecked a bunch of the reptile houses down there for the tourists, and turned all sorts of scary wildlife loose. I wouldn't walk those nature trails down there without real good boots.

Looks like winter is trying to return here. It's currently 53F but sure feels like 40s with the wind blowing. And tonight's low is gonna make me have a fit. :hissyfit: lol

30F for the low tonight. And I thought spring was here. xd I left my space heater off and unplugged all night last night and yesterday and now tonight I'm gonna have to use it.

Just when I thought I could store it away the cold weather has to return.

31F. We hit 38F just before noon but it slid down all day after that and not a lick of sunshine either. Ice pellets tonight, 47F and rain tomorrow.

So, the 4" snow is still on the driveway. With saturated gravel underneath, it's much better to drive over it until it melts than to try clearing it.

Here is some pics of the kitchen renovations.
Took out shelves in the pantry and cupboards and put in pull outs.



Took out old counter top and sink and installed new quartz counter and under mount sink.




Installed backsplash.

Those pull out shelves make a lot more sense. When we built, we put drawers on all the bottom cabinets except under the stove and in the corner.

I first saw quartz countertops replacement on "The Property Brothers" That is suppose to be the best countertop stone!

The new backsplash adds more excitement and contrast to the kitchen.

Thanks for the compliments on the upgrades, my wife has a knack of picking the right things. We had pull outs at the old house and once you have them you cannot live without them so that's why we installed them in the new house.

Good Morning! Heavy rain this morning and thunderstorms expected, but the good news is it should get up to 75 degrees today. I have a roofer coming over to give me an estimate today, hope he brings his raincoat!
