Good morning!!!!

74 heading to 85 after an upper 90s day yesterday.

Fixed my JD riding mower axle yesterday. Unfortunately, it was parked in the hot sun and I thought best not to take the time to move it with rain threatening later. So I burned up and sweat a gallon, and then got rained on anyway before I finished. Well, good feeling to have it working again. Now need the jungle to dry out so I can get that mowing job done.

I think I hear a couple of bank accounts getting flushed out into the water :) with this talk of big boats. Actually, sounds like fun. Hope it all works out.

Roy, get well!

Hope you shake off the bug quickly Roy.

A grocery run and dropping off recyclables is the plan this morning. The garden needs some weeding work done.

Have a good day.

77 this morning and headed to 91 again today. Did get last planting of the garden done yesterday. Then about an hour after I finished we got .9" of rain in about 20 minutes. I haven't been back out to see if it got umm unplanted. At one point I looked out and the garden had white caps. Anyways 1.11 inches of rain was the total for yesterday and last night. We were really needing a good rain.

Sounds like there's two fevers going around here. Ones curable the other isn't. Roy I think you may have the curable one, get better.

Drew take care of your feet. They take you were ever you go.

68F now, mainly sunny. High 99F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

RS, unfortunately I've found our legal system to be an unreliable remedy for such issues. All too often it costs more to pursue satisfaction than the loss is worth. Only the attorneys win in most situations. Hope you have better luck.

Roy, hope you're feeling better. Summer's a horrible time for the flu. Not that winter's any better. :(

Drew, hope the doc can figure out a way to get rid of the hitch in yer gitalong. From what "they" say, you and Buppies are about to have one of the best days in a boat owner's life. The other one is supposed to be the day you sell the boat.

Kyle, glad you and yours are OK. Maybe the power or Internet went out in the non-reporting areas?

Dave, sounds like you've got just about the nicest weather today. About time, eh?

Dunno how I did it, but somehow I wired the power lead to ground on the driving lights. For some reason it popped the fuse every time! :duh: Should be an easy fix, then on to getting that new pump installed on the sprayer.

Speaking of the legal system, I was granted a divorce yesterday. It was supposed to be a trial, but before court was even called into session the judge called the attorneys into chambers and announced she wasn't interested in hearing arguments. Made it clear she'd already made up her mind by reading the trial briefs, and there was almost no chance of changing her mind. At that point it was just a matter of figuring out the lowest cost option, so I agreed to a forced settlement. They call it the legal system, but there was no justice meted out in that room yesterday. At least now that's behind me and I can get on to living my life.

Happy Hump Day everyone!

Good morning everyone from rainy Gainesville TX. 73F going to a whopping 75F with rain, more rain, and still more rain over the next few days. Forecast is for 2 to 8 inches, rain gauge is still packed. The moving company must have pissed off their IT, only way the inventory could be that badly mangled :( . Hopefully will get house organized enough to start sleeping there. You all have been quite chatty since I have been gone only up to June 6 tring to catch up :)

RNG - CONGRADULATIONS I have been through it myself. It got to the point she could have everything except my sanity. I bought it once, I can do it again. No kids involved made it easier for me. I used to think the best day of my life was the day I got out of the Army, but the Divorce decree beat that.

72F and partly sunny @ 15:00 ...

When I woke up earlier, it felt like someone had beat me with a stick ...

Got the weed whip and wheel barrow returned to my nephew yesterday. Forgot to give him back the trimmer line so there will be another trip over to drop that off.

Congrats to Golden State on winning the NBA Championship. They were the better team and truly deserved it.

As a Cavs fan, the outcome was certainly a disappointment, but for the Cavs to have made it as far as they did given their circumstances, was certainly something to be happy about. Hopefully, they will do better next year.

I wouldn't doubt that for a minute. Our legal system, while it has many great qualities, relatively speaking as compared to others, has many flaws as well. Trusting real justice to Man is a highly dubious proposition at best IMO.

All too often it costs more to pursue satisfaction than the loss is worth. Only the attorneys win in most situations.
I'll be pursuing the matter using a rather novel approach, that involves enlisting the efforts of other interested parties.

When one goes to war, it's generally better to bring an army, rather than stand alone.

And my attorney will be handling it on contingency basis ... so he's got "skin in the game" ...

At this point - without even completing a fully detailed assessment - the loss/damages are probably at least in the mid 5 figure range, if not higher ... which is definitely worth pursuing in my book.

Hope you have better luck.
Thank you.

What a joke ...

At least now that's behind me and I can get on to living my life.
The present and really, the future, is where it's at ...

glad that worked Roy.

heat index of 108 predicted for here tomorrow afternoon. I intend to be inside by noon.
Be careful out there Buppies...that's egg frying weather
and correcting something earlier, the Grady White is sized like a C class Mercedes but costs like an S class, or two, or whatever when you get the largest models they make. The good thing is if it has a fridge, stove, toilet and pressurized water system, usually, if one takes a mortgage on it the interest is deductible as a second residence. Your results may vary.
