Good morning!!!!

90 this morning and headed to 95 today. They have pulled the temps back for today. Yesterday was a big plan day bit nothing done day. It was hot. By the time I got the tractor back together I was sick. To much heat for this sinus drainage. Took a nap and once it cooled off went swimming. Managed to wash out my nose on the diving board. Not fun. But the rest of the evening was. Took some night time medicine and told my wife to wake me Monday morning. Well I just woke up. Feel better. We'll see how the day goes. So now I get to start on yesterday's list. No mowing though. May just move equipment and get salt.

Kev. I was going to suggest the hand at bottom of wheel technique but you already know about it. :)

Drew that hand looks like mine after those biting flies get me. Learn to look before you swat. Bees and wasp don't sting if brushed off. When dealing with sweat bees don't smash them. Roll them with your fingers. The won't sting then. But yes always keep some Benadryl in the medicine cabinet. We use to use the tobacco trick when housing. We'd get stung daily. Grab some dried tobacco off the stalk. Spit on it till it'll stick. Then stick it on and forget about it. When it falls off you won't know where you got stung. Speaking of which, that may be a good reason to go buy a pack of tobacco. Maybe the chewing kind because they are resealable.

Good Morning. 1050, sunny, 92F {106F HI} with 62% humidity. Forecast high of 92F with 60% chance of thunderstorms today, and a low of 77F tonight.

Another late night and early morning at work. But we close early on Sunday, so I should catch up on my beauty sleep tonight. There is a wedding this afternoon, so I wore long pants to work. The first time in a few weeks.

Ron, thanks for the race reminder. I had forgot to set the recorder this morning. Looking forward to seeing if Austin and Denny's contact yesterday will carry over to today's Cup race.

Kyle, happy birthday.

Drew, I knew the bee sting was bad, but I didn't realize it had made your fingers fall off:eek:

You guys have a good one,

Larro

Happy Birthday Kyle! And many more.

Off and on rain today but less than 1/2" total. Some of the shallow (20'-25') dug wells around here are going dry which is common in a dry summer.

I broke down and ordered a new tail wheel assembly for my Woods Brush Bull. $124 + tax. The clevis holding the wheel on mine was bent from backing into a rock. When they are bent badly enough, the wheel doesn't pivot correctly and plows trenches going sideways in soft ground rather than tracking straight behind the mower. I had tried heating and beating the old one but didn't accomplish much.
