90 this morning and headed to 95 today. They have pulled the temps back for today. Yesterday was a big plan day bit nothing done day. It was hot. By the time I got the tractor back together I was sick. To much heat for this sinus drainage. Took a nap and once it cooled off went swimming. Managed to wash out my nose on the diving board. Not fun. But the rest of the evening was. Took some night time medicine and told my wife to wake me Monday morning. Well I just woke up. Feel better. We'll see how the day goes. So now I get to start on yesterday's list. No mowing though. May just move equipment and get salt.
Kev. I was going to suggest the hand at bottom of wheel technique but you already know about it.
Drew that hand looks like mine after those biting flies get me. Learn to look before you swat. Bees and wasp don't sting if brushed off. When dealing with sweat bees don't smash them. Roll them with your fingers. The won't sting then. But yes always keep some Benadryl in the medicine cabinet. We use to use the tobacco trick when housing. We'd get stung daily. Grab some dried tobacco off the stalk. Spit on it till it'll stick. Then stick it on and forget about it. When it falls off you won't know where you got stung. Speaking of which, that may be a good reason to go buy a pack of tobacco. Maybe the chewing kind because they are resealable.
