The exam by GP that shows no elargement of the prostate is not ,always correct. If symptoms exists have urologist exam.

41 degrees here with a high of 50 and rain all day.

Eric, Both actually. Yesterday I started welding up a set of shafts for the new Horse to pull it, but have made them removable so I can hook up a car hitch to it. That way if I need to haul the horse to a parade or function in the trailer, I can pull the wagon with another vehicle. The man that gave it to me used a team of Mini's to pull it.

Texted my Vet yesterday to ask when she can come by to give the new horse her shots and check her out, warned her to bring a ladder. I am 6'-1" and can't see over the back of this horse, she is only about 5'-5".

Was going to wash and grease the tractor, maybe see if I can figure out what is wrong with the FEL but having a hard time moving in this weather

Don, Again my thoughts are with you an your Dad (trying to be PC, but hard for this old redneck). I hope he is feeling better day by day.

Buppies, so what is mid Ohio going to look like in March and May?

34 degrees, frost on the pumpkin, going up to mid 50's today, and down into low to mid 20's next few nights. Still no rain in forecast until Friday.
Buppies, hope that shoulder feels better, though I bet it will be sore for awhile. Don't overdo it this week in the nice weather...

Saw Star Wars yesterday, movie was ok, loud, somewhat pointless but of course entertaining. I was glad to get outside and let the din recede.
Now that I qualify for a senior ticket, the cost of two tickets was less than the cost of a small soda, a small popcorn and a pretzel. No question where the profit is in that business; next time I'll bring a bottle of water with me but there's something about hot theater popcorn that just is a part of the whole experience. With very little of that unknown yellow stuff they let you pour on top. The young girl next to me just pumped and pumped that stuff on, I was waiting for it to run out the bottom. We ate half a small bag and that's all either of us wanted.

For many of us in the East, winter has finally arrived. Time to bundle up.

It's quite breezy out so the wind chill is making it feel like 24 degrees right now. Opened up the door to the chicken run and the chickens ran to it, stuck their head out and got a blast of wind and decided it's an indoors type of day.

Well, time to venture outside though it just now only got up to 40.

Below freezing here today. Expected 2-6 in of snow in next 24 hrs. I live in the land of lake effect hence the wide variance. Will mark the first time I plow snow with my new tractor.

30 this morning and headed to 44 today. Already 40.

Have some cleaning to do at the chicken coops as its audit week. Audit is for our GAP certificate renewal. Don't know what day they'll be here but it'll be easier if all I have to do is sweep control room. Then maybe enough time to install the new tool box. My old one was splitting at the welds. But hey it's only on its 4th pickup and I know it's over 20 years old.

Happy new year everybody!

Winter is finally here, I put the heated water buckets out for the chickens and goat. I am surprised at my new chickens, I got them July 22, and they are laying like crazy, even though I have not put lights on for them. They are the best layers I've ever had, and the most aggressive, they are out of the coop at 1st light, and are scratching around when it is dark. They are *** link birds, brown egg layers.

Got some tractor time in, used it to turn the compost pile, and disposed of some branches brought down in the various storms. Also did a little roofing, I lost a couple of shingles at my rental. I needed to get it done ASAP. I don't like to let things go. While there I changed out the furnace filters.

Good Morning. 1015, overcast, 47F with 69% humidity. Forecast high of 54F with 30% chance of rain today, and a low of 40F tonight. I heard it rain sometime during the night, but it wasn't real wet when I went out this morning. Margie cooked a new French toast recipe that turned out very good. I took a plate to Mamma, so I get the good child award for the day. No real plan for the day, other than clean up from the last two days of cooking. Not sure if I will camp tonight or not. I try to go every Wednesday and Sunday, but over the Holidays I have been going more days that not.
