Don I'd agree hog nose. Colors very. I've seen hog nose that look identical to a copperhead and the also almost black.

Looks just like the hognose snakes we've seen a few times in our fields. They can put a scare into you since they look so much like the bad snakes.

I was going to mess with him to see if he acted like a hognose, roll over play dead, spread his neck, but he disappeared.

Pupils appear to be round, so probably not a copperhead or any sort of rattler ...

Good evening Back home,Took a goof off trip up to Mark's cabin in the top of Wisconsin that got tripped up. Should of been gone till Friday, but things happen.
It was 12:30 PM yesterday when we were told Mark's brother may not make it through the night so he headed home to fly out to CA. San Diego early AM this morning. So I staid back and closed up things and checked to see what other stuff needed to be done if any. Locked everything up and headed home at 9:20 AM got home at 3:00PM.
Tired. Still don't know if his brother made it through the night.
Bummer If he passes that will be three of his four brothers gone.
I will catch up later.

Some are for sure. The ones here look a lot like copperheads.

USPS did it again.... Amazon says USPS delivered something last saturday, but it hasn't shown up yet. USPS tracking says it was put in my mailbox. Last time this happened, it came weeks later...
