Good Morning! 79F @ 6:15AM. Sunny. High 98F. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph.
Roy's point about pets and travel is a good one.
Went to hang a refilled hummingbird feeder yesterday and the bottom fell out, dumping sugar water all over the back patio. Didn't break anything, and managed to save half the bottle, made a mess but a few minutes with a garden hose took care of most of it. I'm just glad it didn't spill on the way out of the house.
I think I've finished sanding on the van, but will recheck all the panels this morning for missed spots. Got driver & passenger doors hung, but not properly adjusted. Hope to get the side slider on this morning as well, then my body man neighbor will be here this afternoon to help with the rear hatch and getting all the doors aligned properly. Also need to get four replacement LED lamps mounted, and a 30'x30' silver tarp rolled so it can be installed over the lamps to keep light out of the spray booth during daylight hours. Also need to mask a couple more door openings, and make up some paper boots for the tires. Hope to start shooting paint as soon as temps drop to 85F tomorrow evening. With any time left today I'll get back to the fiberglass pop top roof and sand it prior to primer and paint. Tomorrow starts a cooling trend that, by Friday, will see temperatures fall below the 75F minimum needed for the paint I'm using, so this week will be make or break for the project.
