Buppies.
Hope your forecast has some much needed rain for upper northeast before the ground freezes.

This weather event if it happens will bring you rain Thomas. In a weird sort of way this complex set up has been showing up on the long range models sense late last winter. Some say we are better at predicting the weather six months out than 24 to 48 hours

33 right now...heading up to 60 and clear...nice day.
Chores will be a continuation of yesterday...fitting in presentation work (job stuff) with mowing.

Drew, dogs are great...we've had dogs for decades. No greater love, then a dog's love. But they need attention and care. They also need a fenced in yard unless you are willing to put in an invisible fence and do the training. I'd suggest going to the nearest animal rescue and see which pup you can help.
Now, we have a boxer...she's been a pretty good dog and has never suffered separation anxiety or chewed on anything. When we got her, I wish we had gotten a companion (male) at the same time.
Downside of having a dog (vs. a cat) you can forget vacations or anything more then a day trip unless you board the pooch or have a neighbor take care of it when you're on the road.

Added:
Y'know...33 degrees this morning. Reckon I'd better get the extension cable out and ready. The 4520 is a great tractor, but in cooler (<35 degrees) temperatures it sure doesn't start as easily as my previous Yanmar powered Deeres.

69 this morning and headed to 92 today. Rain chances increase for tonight and tomorrow morning then cool down.

Wife's dragging me along to a surprise 25th anniversary party for her sister and BIL. Told them it was family pictures so they'd show up. But they've been complaining about having to be there, so we'll see how the surprise part goes over.

Drew. Dogs are the most loving. Have a Jack Russell in the house. Great dog. But was full of energy and has springs for hind legs. Shedding was terrible but talked to the vet and she did some test. His thyroid was bad. 8 years old. Now on meds. Loosing weight and sheds 10% of what he use to.
Cats. Well they mostly look at you like "you came home now serve me as I'm king. " Dogs. Well they're going to be happy you're home and ask you to do something with them. Rub belly, fetch, something.
Although the pet I get the biggest kick out of it my wife's Crested Gecko. He's always in a different spot hanging a different way. Water every day and a mill worm every 2 days. Clean cage every couple of months. Now there's a pet to travel with. Just keep it between 70 & 80.

Good Morning! 79F @ 6:15AM. Sunny. High 98F. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph.

Roy's point about pets and travel is a good one.

Went to hang a refilled hummingbird feeder yesterday and the bottom fell out, dumping sugar water all over the back patio. Didn't break anything, and managed to save half the bottle, made a mess but a few minutes with a garden hose took care of most of it. I'm just glad it didn't spill on the way out of the house.

I think I've finished sanding on the van, but will recheck all the panels this morning for missed spots. Got driver & passenger doors hung, but not properly adjusted. Hope to get the side slider on this morning as well, then my body man neighbor will be here this afternoon to help with the rear hatch and getting all the doors aligned properly. Also need to get four replacement LED lamps mounted, and a 30'x30' silver tarp rolled so it can be installed over the lamps to keep light out of the spray booth during daylight hours. Also need to mask a couple more door openings, and make up some paper boots for the tires. Hope to start shooting paint as soon as temps drop to 85F tomorrow evening. With any time left today I'll get back to the fiberglass pop top roof and sand it prior to primer and paint. Tomorrow starts a cooling trend that, by Friday, will see temperatures fall below the 75F minimum needed for the paint I'm using, so this week will be make or break for the project.

57F and sunny @ 09:30 ... high today predicted to hit 74F. 70% chance of thunder storms tomorrow.

Probably spend the whole day splitting wood ... although there might be a trip to Rural King in Wooster to pick up one of those factory-reconditioned Poulan Pro saws for $99.

Poor replacement for a Stihl ... but it is what it is ...
