Found out tonight our middle grandson who just turned 5, has pneumonia. He was sick last week, they were going to do a chest X-ray but decided it wasn't needed when he responded to breathing treatments. Seemed to me just the opposite would be the case, but what do I know? He woke up with a 102° fever, the X-rays showed right lung involvement. Praying for my buddy, he's Pop pop's boy.

Didn't get to wiring before the rain started, but did get the legs on end of struts, so quite stable now.
Decided to angle toward morning sun a bit.

I was doing a lot of huffing and puffing, had two helpers; snow was wet so pretty heavy. Another storm coning in Wednesday late afternoon, supposed to start as snow and then turn to heavy rain. We haven't had this much snow for a few years, what the heck happened to global warming?

It came down here for a week. I put gas in the car after dark, no coat, no hat, no wind breaker. It was 74.

Farmer, how do you "herd" chickens? There is a Sanderson processing station near where I work. Often, I'd see their 18 wheeler passing cars in the 45 mph city limits, changing lanes and just flat out driving like a nuisance....until 1 day....He tried to make a left hand turn too fast going to the plant and rolled a tractor trailer full of chickens. Many of the birds got loose. I hope they attacked the driver.

Good evening all. 59F this morning, overcast clearing out, light breeze. Winds not as bad as forecast, closer to 15 mph max, temp rose to 77F with mostly clear skies. Rode this morning, usual route has 3 low water crossings, one is being converted to a higher bridge deck so have to change how I ride route. Grocery shopping and diner in town finished off day.

25 right now...high will be a nice 40 degrees today which should melt quite a bit of the snow we got yesterday (looks like about 3-4 inches of wet snow with ice on top)

Added (0347): Pretty frozen out there, so I think I'll do the clean up this afternoon. I think it's going to be a slow drive in to work this morning...

56 high of 68 later today rain moves in tonight. Very windy yesterday even closed road in front of house from a tree rather large that fell across the road. Took a large rubber tired loader to clean that one up.

Bathroom progress slow but sure. The wonder board is in heating elements in for heated floor and grouted tile installation starts today. Cabinet installed on Friday and counter top templated Friday as well. Counter top takes two to three weeks to make so March looks like when they will be close to done

light rain now and mid fifties, going up to 72 today; lots of us seem to be enjoying warmer than usual weather, but the next system coming in tomorrow ends before it drops to 24 degrees Friday morning. Hopefully that will not take out the buds on my two apple trees that are budding.
North of here looks like lots of you are getting snow. Well this Friday's moon is a full moon, an eclipse too, and is called the "snow moon". Fitting for the weather...Indians used to call it the "hunger moon" since it was the dead of winter when food was hard to find.

Buppies, your bathroom sounds like you are coming along nicely. I bet you can't wait for many reasons, including the mess.
David, slow and steady. Sounds like you may need the hot tub for your back. Does your wife let you off for a full half hour for lunch?
