Drew, mom missed her friend today, she was not working. Mom was very tired but had a good time. She loved the old order Mennonite leather shop that my wife's 1 1/2 cousin runs. They call it a harness shop but they don't make much harness any more. Knife sheaths, holsters, phone cases, ...... He even had a couple old time briefcases that he made that were very pretty. All in an old chicken house that has been used for a harness shop for many years. I love that place. Been going there long before I knew my wife.

Ed, sounds like the last buggy whip shop in town...bet it smells good in there.
She might need to switch to quilts or add them along a big wall.
More wheel painting tomorrow but I got three out of four done today.
Lot of blue tape. I put the fronts on very gently to make sure they cleared and they did.
Paint has to harden longer before I tighten down the lug nuts.

Good evening all. 55F this morning, high thin clouds, very light breeze. Temp warmed to 81F, brisk breeze from south, sky cleared and humidity did not climb much. Friday will have chance of showers, need rain, less than 1/2 in of rain since august . Yesterday, Men's mtg, bike ride, finished backyard mowing. Today spent most of day with wife. We have the thermostat wars much like you all are talking about, she is in a blanket, and I am wearing t-shirt and shorts

Good morning, we had a real soaker yesterday, the sort of day when a couple of hours outside with the brushcutter when the rain first started was more than enough to look forward to doing a bit of paperwork inside.
At least I almost got on top of the rushes I have been trying to hack back all year, much easier now they are knee high instead of chest high. With a bit of winter dieback I should be able to see and remove the worst of the rocks and old bricks below and then hopefully get on there with the tractor next year.
Sure, maybe PJ will crank up his new amp and play "Shovels and Dirt" for the soundtrack ?

Good morning all, 45 this morning headed to 76 and sunny. Need to mow today and hope to get it done. Other than that ???????
Drew, up here in the Mennonite community quilts are everywhere and David has every wall and everywhere else covered with something and then something in front of it. The buggy shop is a few miles down the road and they build the Mennonite box buggys and restore old buggys. A while back the did some work on the buggy that John D Rockefeller drove to work. They are kin to my wife too, of course they all are.
