Am thankful that eight hours of driving are over, heavy traffic all the way down to NC, but no accidents. And no rain.
Looks like we got about half an inch while I was away. More please. And it looks like that might happen, up to two inches of rain over the next few days.

Actually, since the high tomorrow is supposed to be 42 here, I might just run the fireplace all day tomorrow and catch up on things inside. I also have to do something about inside decorations, something minimal.

Currently enjoying a bottle of diet IBC root beer. Very good, bought it on sale.
Though I've drunk Hires all my life, mostly diet. Now I drink almost no soda, regular or diet and I'm sure
I'm healthier for it. But this stuff is a treat. Made in Plano Texas.

A San Antonio Rriverwalk bicycle cop - dream job.

I have been to the river walk several times but only 2x in the summer and those were as a kid.
I remember it being considerably cooler (@15°) there in the summer than up on the street is that right or is my rusty brain needing a reminder?

Maybe a bit cooler, due to all the open air conditioned bars, but still hot.

Texas Rangers would be cool maybe.

That could very well have been in Texas, but I reckon some other states have just as much of a problem.

When I was there last summer it was only cooler because it was shady and I was eating sorbet but not 15˚, maybe 5˚. But there is no wind down by the river so sometimes it felt hotter if you hit a sunny spot.
