My local barber has been 15 bucks for awhile. I give him a 20 and he keeps the change. Others don't tip at all, or give him one dollar.
Tipping is almost mandatory up North, here not so much.

I'll gladly part with my $20 for a decent $16 haircut. I feel somewhat guilty paying $16 and tipping $4 after all those head massages and what I paid.

It made it to 30F here today, now 19F. The driveway is less icy

same as it was in Pennsylvania for last ten years, except when barber retired and price jumped to 18, I still gave a 20.
That's all a haircut is worth to me, plain and simple.

Roy, does your wife tell you what she spends in the "salon"?......
We get off dirt cheap.

My barber died 5 years ago.
My DIL cuts the split ends (NO more than 1/2") off every spring.
Got everything done today that I set out to do, except for the fuel. I will get that on Friday, maybe.

My wife is a dog groomer. She has lots of different blades for her clippers. She cuts my hair, just buzzes it down. The only problem I have is getting on all 4's.

Looking at a verizon only cell phone repeater for the house. $135 on amazon. The Wilson one that does all LTE bands is $400. It would help my at&t mobley signal also..

Does the wilson repeater cover 5G as well? It's already rolling out in some cities, and has higher bandwidth so not only will it pass data more quickly, it will handle more traffic. But each antenna doesn't cover as much area, probably not a good thing for us rural dwellers because it'll cost more to push out to the low population density areas. In any case, I'm waiting to replace my Wilson 3G repeater until 5G is available here. Then I can finally dump this awful satellite internet connection.

My wife cut my hair for the first 34 years of our marriage, now she takes me along to great clips and gets both of us trimmed. Good excuse to get out of house.

Lady who cuts my hair just went from $16 to $17. I give her $20, or $22 if its really long. She has cut the kids hair almost all their lives.


Who knew turtle soup came out green.
