I just checked amazon.ca and they want $90.oo for the can including nozzle. Nozzle only was $16.95 and will ONLY fit No-Spill cans. They can keep it for that price.

They’re 33.95 at about 5-6 places including Tractor Supply. Same with nozzles $9.95 at a bunch of places.

Afternoon all;
Back in the house after scrapping a bunch of frozen snow off the driveway, then loaded the sander and sanded it. Had to pull the chained up tires off the sand truck to take it in for a DMV inspection tomorrow morning then throw the chained up tires back on for the storm on Wednesday, calling for 8-12 inches.

I would actually believe that!:D I Think I can see ag tire marks going across....

I saw those in the pic also, I need to go scrub my pavers now to get those 4wd tractor tire turning marks off.
It will take a lot more than steak to do another paver circular drive. Now if it was WFPB - I'll be there in the spring.
I used up all my Fast "unlimited" Data till the 27th of February on the stump project with my iPhone. AT&T will now decrease my speed till then. I feel soooo slooow.

My late wife got the CDC report every day this time of year or if there was any kind of outbreak. I致e also seen the stats on shot vs not. In a normal year those getting the shot are 50% -75%
less likely to get flu, but what most people miss is that for every person that is vaccinated 10-15 less cases of flu will occur due to breaking the chain of transmission. As for the shot, it is absolutely impossible to catch the flu from the shot, the nasal spray was weakened live virus and caused many cases of flu, that痴 why they stopped using it. Some people have a reaction to the shot or anything that aroused the immune system and can react with aches and fever for a day or two, happens to me about every 5 years or so.

So everyone that does not get the shot, but does not get the flu is also breaking the chain of transmission. Just because you get the shot, does not mean that you will not get the flu. The flu shot weakens our immune systems for 2-3 weeks and if you are exposed during that time, you will likely get sick.. not just the flu, but other things that your immune system would normally handle. My daughter works as MA in a clinic and everyone of the MAs that got the flu shot got the flu. Most of those that did not get the shot, did not get the flu (it is mandatory, but you can get a waiver).

... and the flu generally does not kill anyone, it is the other stuff that gets you because you have the flu, such as Pneumonia. Older folks greatly improve their chances if they get the shots for Pneumonia.

Not wanting to debate, just wanting to present a view from other side on the flu vaccine.

Got up to 50 today......light drizzle off and on.......supposed to see the sun later this week. Should probably mow grass but I refuse this early in the year.

Since I've got somewhere between 5 and 8 inches of frozen snow covering my lawn...doubt if I have to worry about mowing for another month or so...

Feel free to believe as you wish, but the shot never gave anyone the flu. It doesn稚 weaken the immune system, it causes it activate to fight the pathogens. It takes it about two weeks to fully activate, if you are exposed in that time frame your protection is limited. It isn稚 a guarantee, and this is not a good year, but it痴 dangerous for the whole population when people refuse the vaccine in larger numbers. I値l take my chances in a room full of vaccinated vs room full of dice rollers. People, otherwise healthy not getting vaccinated is tantamount to being exposed to secondhand smoke, it might not hurt others, but it might. And one last thing, unvaccinated people can be exposed to the virus, never show symptoms and still transmit it to others, as with many other viruses. I知 not trying to change your mind, but I want everyone to know the truth before deciding. For the last 33 years of Lynn痴 career she was a communicable disease specialist, an expert, with access to every detail known to medicine. For several years she was responsible for the county痴 response to disease outbreaks. I base my belief on evidence, long term studies and science, not anecdotal evidence, such as everyone I know that got a shot got the flu. It happened to me last year, but I知 a bad example with my weakened immune system.
Bear in mind, in no way am I mad, not trying to preach, well maybe a little. :D But for years I watched her fight this kind of resistance, fought to the detriment of all. But she had the same battles dealing with women’s health issues.
So bottom line for me is agree to disagree and remain friends.:drink:

Bought this can today and live it! It won稚 spill, has an easy to use start button and automatically stops when full. Best of all is it pours fast like the old cans. If you have a modern no spill can you can buy the nozzle unit for $10, can wasn稚 cheap at $34.

I've got 2 of those, great cans. I've read (maybe on here?) that some guys are installing vents in them, that way you can empty them in 2 minutes?

13 here, plowed out my place and 2 neighbors, then went to the wife's shop and ran the snow blower for a bit. We had lunch, which was ok, but microwaved chili doesn't get it. I think its time for a beer....:)

Mine is way fast now, but I don’t doubt it. I think I’m going to order two spouts for two of my gas cans, I like the cans but the spouts suck!

I’ve looked at them also. But with a 300 gallon overhead tank and a 50 gallon pickup tank with 12 volt pump I’ve left them on the shelf. The only 2 times I need/use diesel jugs is the torpedo heater in old shop and to start a brush pile fire. For the heater I load the heater in back of truck or ranger and drive to a tank. I used old oil pails for the brush piles. 50 gallon tank is on pallet and fits in back of ranger or pickup.

Ordered fuel for overhead tank today. Will find out cost when it gets here. I forgot to ask. 300 gallons = 6-8 months.

Do need some of the gasoline cans though. I carry 4 almost year around.

34 today. 30 currently. Don’t know if snow will hold together long enough for us to get our forecasted dusting.

Youngest son goes in at 6:15 in the morning for tubes. Hopefully home before lunch.

Fuel suppliers around here discourage using overhead tanks. Some won't fill them, and the state requires a ground level tank, with a system to guard against leaks.

Wher did you get it? I'm tired of spilling fuel all over, no matter how careful I am.
