Not so fast! After our Richmond House was complete, right before Christmas 2015, my wife told me to add a new stud finder to her Christmas Gift list. Her old one wasn稚 working well (she has her own tool box) and she was getting ready to start hanging pictures in the new house. Boom! She got a new Dewalt SF and a Dewalt laser level tool as well.

One of the first thing I learned about her was that she wasn稚 a rose fan but, she loved tulips. So, for the 12+ years we致e been together it痴 Tulips for Birthdays, Anniversaries, Valentine痴 Day, etc.

We took one of the European River cruises thru Holland and Belgium a couple of years ago. The highlight of the trip, for her, was the tulip fields in Holland and the Keukenhof Gardens near Lisse.

Happy Valentines Day to all our Ladies!

Now you've done it! Drew will be out today planting rows of tulips and never get any rest. :)

Valentines Day marked 15 weeks without mine, so I tried to keep busy and not bum out my friends.
Lynn also didn’t like roses at all, blue carnations were her flowers. I’ve made through firsts of anniversary, Thanksgiving, Christmas, birthday, Valentines Day, one grandson’s birthday. Still have many birthdays to go as well as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter, etc...
My biggest regret is all she is missing.

Had .007 of rain in a couple of heavy showers I wasn’t expecting, it’s up to 50 now, if it clears we will get above 70. After a chilly weekend we are expecting mid 70’s next week!

20F now upper 40's for high.
Hardly any ice or snow melt yesterday next 5 days...dang it.

Well better feed birds squirrels etc. than have English muffin head down to the valley for 8 hours of :confused2:

Enjoy the day all.

That sounds like of them loaded question.
How do I look in this new dress?

Do these new jeans make my butt look big? Lol
There are those questions that you can’t hear and then you answer the phone that didn’t ring!

oh man, I saw those and thought the same thing!!!!!
Ok, maybe I only have zinnias to work with, but, but....

I've planted hundreds of bulbs here. Always curious what comes up a second time, daffodils for sure, but those expensive tulips? Not so much.

56 warm degrees out, going up to 75 today in nice weather, high seventies tomorrow in rain. I expect those daffodils are going to love it.

And i will be out planting more cabbage and two trays of lettuce. I really need to fix all the holes in the plastic fence, a race against the Bunny family and my lettuce.

I picked up my two 50 pound bags of seed potatoes yesterday. No whites, only two kinds of reds. Fine, Food Bank will happily eat red potatoes.
When do I plant them? We don't know, we sure aren't potato farmers they said with a smile. They do 3500 acres of wheat, rotation crops. They think each bag of potatoes will do well over an acre, and I have maybe one acre. Over the next week I'll be cutting these potatoes up and getting ready for planting. Beginning of March is fine. I still have to hill that whole field anyway.

Expecting Idaho potatoes, both bags of potatoes are Canadian. Tag didn't say much, need to read it carefully and find out where in Canada these were grown. Am guessing somewhere above the Idaho line. One is Red Pontiac, other I'm not sure. Red potatoes are fun, when kids help harvest them it's like digging up Easter eggs.

Nice to put a golf shirt on today but long pants a must, back on my knees again.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 40° with heavy fog this morning. Heading to 44° with some rain in late afternoon. Snow is melting slowly. X-ray for back this morning. I can walk without pain this morning. Good thing. County snow plow knocked mail box off mount. This time they managed to completely destroy it. I do have a spare one stored in barn. so I will get that mounted back on the post.

Wife and I traded funny Valentine cards yesterday. She bought a arrangement of Carnation and Mini Mums the day before. Roses are nice. But are expensive compared to other flowers. A Hallmark flower from a couple years ago.

PEI is most likely where your potatoes came from. Canada Potatoes data.

Finally got to see some sunshine this morning and with a bit of luck the rain may be leaving us alone for a few days. Time to get to work on all the delayed outside jobs that need electrically powered tools. Most of my tools run off 230V, which isn't exactly the best choice for wet conditions.

40 acres and a mule Drew.
Rick, are you sure only a single mule ? With Drew it could be a mule-team-per-implement.

51 high of 71 today passing shower cooler in 60s and rain tomorrow

Prayers for those in south Florida Riptides Ed and all others who need them

We're sure having some crazy weather; more freezing weather than usual this winter, lack of rain, etc. And NOW . . . 65 degrees at 5 a.m., going for a forecast high of 80. Yesterday morning started at 44 and forecast to go to 69, but it actually went to 79.

Good Morning!!!! 47F @ 5:30AM. Sunny. High 61F. Winds NNW at 10 to 15 mph.

You guys are toooooo funny!:laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing:

Compressor parts arrived yesterday, so I think I'll try to get them installed this morning. Battery Saver came, too, only a couple days after I cancelled the first order that still hadn't shipped two weeks after placing it. JBTools said it was in stock, then charged full amount same day order placed, took two days before they issued the refund. Prolly won't do business with them again. Order placed directly with Granite (the manufacturer) only cost a few dollars more. Put it to work on the Honda Trail 90 that had been sitting off a charger for several months. It already had an SAE connector on the battery so it hooked right up and started charging. We'll see how it did when I go out there this morning.

Also need to pack for tomorrow's trip; I want to be on the road by sunup so I can make Death Valley by dark.

Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!

/ Good morning!!!! #70,639
The low was 17*, it made it up to the low 40's yesterday. Partly cloudy now with a chance of snow shower all day. The high is going to be in the 30's with the wind 20-30.

I'll see if I can find a new project to work on.

Hope everyone has a nice day.
CWB.
