Good morning all, 65 this morning going to 85 with a 20% chance of T-storms. Got the grass mowed yesterday even if it was a little damp. Places were getting way to tall. Couple of wife's nephews stopped in yesterday afternoon and we had a good visit. Will likely take it easy today.

Nice looking new equipment guys.

Prayers for healing and quitting. Have a great day. Ed

Good morning. Woke up to light drizzle, which when done seems to point to drier morning, then thunderstorms again this afternoon.

24 inches of rain so far this year here and I've missed the heaviest stuff which went North.
Unfortunately it always seems that one area gets too much rain and another just looks wistfully on while green turns brown.

Roy, what a nice rig. Surprising how far that thing sticks out in the back isn't it? I found I had to be very, very careful going into the woods with it, planning my turnaround spots carefully in dense woods.
Looks like Woodmaxx is doing ok, that's three of us right here who have bought their products in the last year. I liked the fact I could actually buy something from them made in New York.

Waiting on fist cup of coffee to cool down so it's drinkable. 57° with light rain this morning. Heading to 66° with cloudy skies. Little cool down for a few day. Neigbor is cleaning up a area of their yard. Going to go over there and see what I can clean up with FEL. If that does not work. I will put BH on tractor dig out a small old stump and some roots.

I would like to take credit for the dolly design and construction. What you are seeing is bottom of metal crate that Woodmaxx shipped Flail Mower in. I removed all the upper parts of crate and put 4 HD casters in 4 corners. They sure like to use the bolts and nylock nuts to assemble crate. I still have a one pound coffee can 1/2 filled with them. The crate must have weighed close to 150 lbs. Stored on a shelf in barn is about 100 lbs of galvanized steel angle iron.

Eric, not a lot of painting to do. Most of the iron is galvanized steel. I thought it was painted. Bare steel will probably not get painted. It will stay in barn out of the weather.

Don, good luck with TV repair/buying. 2 of my TV's are Vizio along with the 3 I had in motorhome. Like them a lot. I figure if they can stand up to vibrations in a motorhome. There must be something good about them. The other is a Volare. Supposedly made for Samsung. 39" bought at Walmart Black Friday Sale. OTA tuner died. That's why I bought the adapter linked above.

RS, Buppies, LS and others. Best wishes for continued recovery.

Payers for all those in need.

Good Morning All.

Well, assembled in NY.
Most of it is made in China and Woodmaxx does the assembly. IIRC, you have an 8800 or 9900. Those, I believe, are fully assembled upon delivery...except, I suppose, for the PTO shaft fitting. The 8H requires some assembly....wasn't too bad with two guys. I think my neighbor got a bit frustrated with me...I go step by step per the manual...he's a bit more mechanically inclined and moves quite a bit faster then I do.

I hope I can figure out a way to store this inside during the winter months. Due to the weight, I'm going to have to give it some thought. I hate leaving equipment outside, but my tractor is too tall to back all the way in the garage. My outbuilding's garage door is also too low for the tractor and has a dirt floor.

Some of their stuff is made in China. Then shipped to New York for final assembly and inspection. Your MX8800 was made in USA.

Good morning, Ellen says hi, more rain overnight. 9.06” of rain this week.
Going to a gospel concert later, need to mow, guess I’ll install the floats on the mower.
Hope you all have a good day.
Prayers for all, Buppies, get well fast.

Check out my dolly for the 8H.

Thanks for the picture!
I see you remove the hydraulic controller to reduce overhang weight. That's a good idea. Do you support the input chute in any way? A side view would be appreciated.
Never mind...I see you remove the chute completely

I don't mind leaving the chipper out during the warmer weather (covered with a trap when not in use), but I'd like to get it inside during the winter.
My 3PH snow blower is out all year long...sometimes covered with a tarp. The flail mower is in the outbuilding (on a pallet) I had described previously (dirt floor building)

Picture shows chipper before I installed valves. In my pole barn there is 10' clearance. But other 2 building have 7' ceilings. I take chute off for storage there. Not likely to store it in those 2 buildings. But Flail Mower and rototiller may go in there this winter. Need person that purchased my old Bearcat to come and pick it up.
I will take a side picture while I am getting tiller out today.

Time to get the feet moving so grab E-muffin feed the little critters.

Enjoy the day all.
