Not a very productive day. Wife’s Dr appointment was way longer than it should. For some reason Dr had a struggle to get her prescription with Express Scripts. Worth the wait though as mail order is $60 cheaper than in person pickup.
Put off getting Tractor filters, either get them tomorrow or perhaps just drain and clean everything and replace and refill Thu.

I also used to think aluminium was a fairly benign metal and got a shock when I worked in the mining industry to discover why it is banned from use underground. Friction between aluminium and rusty steel (not clean steel), can release a lot of energy.

All the lambs went off to another farm yesterday for weaning and in return I got more ewes that need to recover condition before the tups arrive. Fewer lambs have gone to market this year as the poor weather conditions slowed their growth and market prices have been lower as some people without grass have been forced to sell what they have prematurely.
Wng, sorry to hear that about Coco, hope you caught her early enough for treatment to be effective and that you haven't got it too.
Have you thought about buying some of that permethrin treated clothing for your hikes? When I'm not wearing knee length rubber boots, I now put DEET on my socks to get any ticks when I'm out where the grass is long.

Nice morning - 66 going to 90. Got a nice t-storm about 10pm. Clear now, saw one of the stray Perseids this morning.
Today is the 49th anniversary of the start of Woodstock. Anyone go?

LS - hope you get the R/E tax and escrow corrected without too much trouble.
I'm hoping Ed was out in his shop with his new lathe last evening with a big smile.
Thanks for the well wishes for Coco. She is taking doxycycline for a month. The urine/kidney test showed zero damage, so hoping we caught it early. Some days she acts stiff getting up, but has no problem chasing down and catching a frisbee before it hits the ground even as far as I can throw it. I use DEET only rarely, usually when I know I'm going off the trail into the thicker stuff, but will have to check into the clothes you mentioned, and maybe use DEET more often. Funny thing with Coco is that she has been on anti-tick medicine (Frontline) her whole life.
Got a couple of hours on the tractor yesterday...using the rake to pull some washed out sand and dirt back into a food plot and smoothing it out. Had a big 5 inch rain earlier this summer on top of several days of normal rain, all right after I had tilled and planted sunflowers. So planning on replanting that plot today with a fall mix of beans and peas and clover that should sprout and give a better ground cover and something for the deer to eat until frost.

I just couldn't wait until breakfast. Great video. Don - don't watch...too many fire department violations. I love the way the British pronounce aluminum...but I don't see how you get 5 syllables out of it.
Oh, I just reread your post...I never knew that you spelled it differently. Often when I see an old car like that, I think about the fact that one day long ago, that was someone's brand new car - a sparkle in their eye.
