Good morning. Another dry day with little wind for us today. Forecast predicts it will continue tomorrow too, which will be perfect as we will be having a birthday party for our youngest grandson. He is about to complete his first ever trip around the sun. The older children will be able to play outside, only downside is that I will have to spend most of today in a long overdue tidy up.

Thanks for all the sympathetic support over the new houses. It isn't something I can change, so no point me loosing any sleep over it - except for one thing - will it get me thrown off TBN "Rural living" ? Don, you did a great job persuading Muhammad to let you stay with Good morning after moving to Sun City, could you put in a good word for me too ? :)

Welcome tx cowboy, hope you have fun looking at what drones can do.

Good morning! 58˚ raining, as it has been for the last 5 days. We may see the sun on Sunday in Sun city.

We are given two 60 gallon trash cans by the city of Georgetown. One is a regular trash can that is curbside emptied once a week the other a recycle can which is emptied curbside once every two weeks. We have a presentation today on recycling in the grand ball room this morning. If you bring an item that is questionable whether it should go in the recycle can or the trash trash can you get an extra chance at the door prize. I'm bringing a tea tin/plastic container. (This is so un-rural compared to the once every 3 months take a trailer load of un-burnables to the county dumpster.)

I installed a outside keypad for the garage doors yesterday with a different code for each door. The instructions were wrong, so I had to find a youtube to set the program code.

I still have not found the right sequence to set the HomeLink in the Subaru to open the garage door. The manual is not right and each youtube is a little different and not right. I'll try again today.

Eric just throw up a pic of a tractor very once in a while and you will be OK. I still have plenty on my hard drive.

Eric that brings up an interesting question for the Morning group.
What is Rural living? Please define.

My answer: Someplace that you can't drive you tractor to the filling station to fill it up with fuel, and you must allot half a day for any store run.

Megamillions tonight.

Don, I never set up the Homelink garage door openers in my car, worried that if car stolen, easy to drive right into my home. It's clunky looking but I still use the clicker that comes with it. Besides, with digital openers, the process is a pain.

I have a small amount of mowing today, then going to continue to break down garden, big patches of six foot tall zinnias have fallen over and it all needs to be cut down and cleaned up. Next week I cut down the okra; some of wooden trunks almost two inches wide.

space heater throwing warm heat on my bare feet under the desk. Life is good.

36 and still dropping. Should hit 64 and sunshine.

My wife has shifted the HVAC into heat mode.

Eric, have fun with the 1 year old.

Will clean the chimney and bring in a load of firewood onto the porch today. I need to check the splitter...I saw a wet spot in the sawdust under it and think it is hydraulic fluid.

Where do you keep your clicker that it can't be used if your car is stolen?

With the Homelink they have to steal the entire car not just the clicker.
