Good morning!!!!

Good Morning!!!! 49F @ 4:30AM. Some clouds this morning will give way to generally sunny skies for the afternoon. High near 55F. Winds NNE at 10 to 20 mph.

Got a few hours of sleep last night but woke up a couple hours ago coughing. Took a couple cold pills and it's slowing down, but hasn't stopped. Probably still try to get a little more sleep before starting the day, though.

Glad you got the colors sorted out on your avatar, Drew. Nice work, Steve. I'm having trouble keeping track: does this mean you are trading in the Kubota? Very strong imagination, Don! ;)

The electrical contractor for the generator came out yesterday and didn't find any real problems with the existing power drop. He did say they've had several reports from Paradise Generac owners that the generators didn't start when the power went out, and that Generac's payment terms were too onerous for their company to be bothered with. He's recommending either Onan or Kohler, so I've got some more reading up to do. It'll be a while with all the new work they've been handed, so I've got plenty of time.

Replaced a coolant level sensor relay on the van yesterday, and got clarification on the wiring for the pulse frequency generator to correct the speedometer problem. I'll try to get that wired today, but I may just end up laying around and taking it easy to try and recover. Hate to see the time get away like that, though.

Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!

We've had some clear, sunny weather lately, although a bit cool. And now the NWS says it's 50 degrees going for a high of 51. Yep, more or less steady temperature with a light breeze from the south,, and a gradually increasing chance of rain today with 100% chance tomorrow and tomorrow night.

And old age gets worse all the time. I tripped on the step at the patio yesterday afternoon, dived between 2 chairs and under the table, scattering furniture and making enough noise that my wife came running out to see if I was dead. Haven't seen her move that fast in a long time. I still have no idea how my right leg got stuck between the seat and arm of one of those chairs. So I had to put a big band-aid on my left arm to stop the bleeding, and my left elbow and right shoulder are a bit sore this morning, but no serious damage. She didn't really need to tell me that I need to be more careful.

From one of your GM mothers. Be careful.
Who started that mother thing.

Bird, glad you only needed a bandaid.
Steve, thank you. I like the engine showing.
Don, yes, all red poppies to memorialize servicemen.

I hope I have now bought my last oem HP ink cartridge. What highway robbery.
65 dollars for a blank ink cartridge that should cost no more than 30. I take a number of years to go through this cartridge,
my check printing printer that I use for only that, so next time, whenever that is, I'm buying generic. 15 bucks.
Actually feel abused by this company, you buy their $120 printer and then the cartridge, not even the color one, costs this?
only ten percent less on amazon and I needed it today.

Drew I switched quite a few years ago to a Laser all in one printer for around $100 and the refill cartridge runs around $59 and last me thru several reems of paper and doesn't dry up like the in cartridges!! FYI

Welp... I am an idiot. Managed to break some very basic tractor safety rules yesterday evening and dropped a rear grader blade onto my foot from raised 3pt height. Not sure if it is broken, but it dang sure is not prettythis morning. Really am not able to walk on it at all.

Pretty mad at myself about this. I am a big stickler for safety and am always preaching it at my wife and our toddler as well as all my guys at work. I work in heavy industry and have seen horrible accidents. Making sure everyone goes home with all their fingers and toes is always my first concern. Yet here I am breaking every basic rule because I was in a hurry...

Guess this is gonna slow me down for a little while.

Lol, but they still do. I reply back something like, "oh, lecture number 15".

daugen; I had a Grey Power agent tell me that ANY damage on my Jeep was NOT covered unless I had a police report number to go with it. I never made a claim with GP in all the years I was with them. Shortly after that I changed companies. State Farm may not be the greatest company in the world, but they are better than nothing.

You guys and your red poppies, don't be harvesting the seeds for anything but replanting, now. :)

I've gone out to plow the 4" off the driveway and the neighbours' too.

Ouch!! I can only imagine how bad that hurt. Hope it heals soon.
