Good morning!!!!

I don't know if I'm just getting used to the smell or it's this cold, but the smoky/spoiled food odor seems to be abating on it's own. That doesn't mean I'm done with my housekeeping, though.
After a while, your nose gets over it. But if you leave and come back to a big smell, it's still there.

If you want, I can send you my hodge podge ozone maker, that is, if I can put my fingers on it.

There are cons associated to ozone, such as it will eat foams and decay rubber. But for sheetrock, wood and such, it does wonders. You will have to clear out of your home, and take major precautions not to intake too much. It will smell like a thunderstorm initially, then your nose's ability to sniff it will wane, and that's why you have to be sure to air out the house after using it.

67°F and .48 inches rain.

Off in a bit to Volcano for Big Island Retired Military Association annual Christmas lunch. Old farts and spouses having a good time and a good meal.
That will pretty much define the day.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

I love Cholula's sauce. Not too spicy, and doesn't taste like vinegar. More like a bit of cayenne and red chili.

Me too, Kyle. I'm especially fond of their chipotle flavor!

Now you got me goin' for a breakfast burrito:licking::licking::licking::licking:

Kyle I have not tried Cholula's sauce. I see they come in 6 different flavors. RNG prefers the Chipotle flavor, which do you prefer?

41˚ misty, wind blowing, had 3.5" of rain yesterday. Just got back from walking the Whip a mile.

I sure like the Original Cholula Hot Sauce; never tried any of the others.

It's warmed up to 39 degrees (from 38) and still raining, but it's been about the lightest rain you can imagine; just lasted so long that my gauge is up to the one inch mark since about 3 p.m. yesterday.

Original. Just plain ole Cholulas. The one on the left. I will have to try the chipotle if I go to a taco house that offers it.

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!

Discussion of aches&pains, BM's, and pill counts in this thread does meet the criteria of an "official" geriatric daycare:cool:

A 5F start to "Dump Day." I've been seeing rabbit tracks around here recently, and this AM Brogen and I saw it. Brogen was a good boy with the rabbit. It's those :censored: cheeky red squirrels that challenge the choke chain. For years I have been creating cover for rabbits w/o much success due to the coy wolfs. I suspect the rabbit's appearance is a result of the apparent reduction in coy wolf numbers around here this year. I have only seen one and very few tracks. No coy wolf "singing" either. :(

Big on today's agenda is addressing the icing in the driveway.

"The reality of geriatrics? Filling morning and night pill boxes for two weeks, dropping the pill into the wrong day, having to fish it out withoutspilling pills, dropping one on the floor so it always goes back in to the dark recesses under some cabinet. and when done, a sense of relief, got that done for two weeks."-
Drew
My pill box is a 7 day box. I have the same challenges and reactions. CBD seems to work as an anti-inflammatory agent, but it is fairly expensive and may not be any better than the Vitamin and supplement mix I usually take. I proved the docs wrong when I was able to wean myself of Prednisone.

Bird- I am happy to read that your pain is resolving.

Ron- Awesome!!!! Thanks for sharing.

Frank- Welcome to this thread.

Ed- I am happy to read that your Son's birthday went well and hope today goes just as well.

"Irv- congrats on the new puppy...pics would be nice"- Billy
Congratulations on the new pup. :D Old farts like pictures

Bill- Good luck with the cat. Cold weather may help make it friendlier ;)

Don- Thanks for the references. I stopped taking fish oil a long time ago. I did not mind the "fish breath." I did not like my stomach's reaction.

I love Cholula's sauce. Not too spicy, and doesn't taste like vinegar. More like a bit of cayenne and red chili.- Kyle I agree.

I'm up to three "forever" pills, and the two little ones are a terror when they drop.- RNG I am down to 4. My smallest are red; a color I do not see well when they drop and roll.

Drew and Ted- I wish you both a safe trip and safe return.

David- I hope that you and Sophie have a great time at the luncheon.

I hope that everyone has a decent weekend.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

Two rules to live by for seniors.
(1) Never pass a bathroom.
(2) Never trust a fart.

If we all live by those two rules, life will always be good.:D

That brought on a decent belly laugh w/o incident

Sage advice.

It seems that at some point in life there is a shift from interest in Adult Protective products to Adult Sanitary products.

Yep, I have 3 pill boxes; one for morning, one for evening, and one that has dissolvable pills for morning and evening. And at least once or twice a week, I forget to take the evening pills. In fact I've forgotten them the last 2 days in a row. Total, 7 pills; two Rx and the others over the counter "recommended" by a doctor.

And yep, those are good rules to live by.
