I give the mail lady a Christmas card with $20.oo in it. Because we are 'technically' on her route she delivers the parcels and first class right to the door in summer. The agreement is that she will not attempt my driveway in winter, but in summer it is no problem. I prefer it that way. I gotta have some excuse to get off my fat azz in winter. getting the mail works, more or less.

A snow fall warning is in effect for the North Bay area on Friday. Upwards of 15cm/6", so we may see 15" or so. I wouldn't worry about it but I have to go to North Bay on Friday. It should be fun and games.

Our mail lady will put anything, that won't fit in our extra large (12"w x 15"h x 25"d) mailbox out on our road, on our front porch.

She always gets a nice Christmas present.

We give the mail lady, garbage guys (regular crew), a small gift, use to with the paper guy but stopped the paper when my wife died. Garbage crew has changed for the worse and are not on the list this year.

Good evening all. 50F this morning, some fog, sky obscured, calm wind. light drizzle start 3 PM, wind stayed light, high temp of 61F. Got some consulting done today have some more to do. Bike ride cut short by roads getting wet from drizzle. Got cover back on boat and checking voltage to see if batteries are discharging out of the boat. Hoping to get leaves mowed soon too wet today.
Drew Stepdaughter has worm farm. Worm won't do hot peppers or onions, and she is careful about what might smell as id spends the winter and summer indoors. She covers the top layer with damp newspaper.
LS good luck with PT, glad to hear cough is better.
PJ, built a kit car for a friend a few years ago, went through the same thing, took several sessions of consulting and research to get the car finished. This was before the internet is what it is now (mid 70's).
Dallas is going to have its 3rd wettest year on record because of October rainfall. Wettest year had half the rainfall in May

Not doing so great with our compost bin. I tell wife I think it’s because very little goes in it. Probably 90% of stuff generated by fruit or vegetables ends up as treats for Duncan, the neighborhood horse. His owner lives at end of our street but he pastures up near us. I think he knows every car by sight that stops with something for him, plus the walkers. He gets his own bags of carrots and apples from us weekly. Word is he is nearly 30 years old and how much he’ll be missed.

31 and reaching for a high of 36F.Wind S 11 mph. Periods of rain. Now there is a 4 letter word I would rather not hear.
I just got my driveway smoothed out after the last rain last month.

The 'special weather statement' (I don't know what is so special about it) is still in effect. Like, come on weather guy, it is winter in Northern Ontario. We get cold and snow. But after about 2" they all get into a panic and call it a 'special weather statement'.
"Significant snowfall possible Friday." Now what the heck does that mean? If we were to get about 2-3', then that would be significant in my eyes. We haven't got a good dumping like that in years, 10 at least.

Coffee has been brewed. 33° with with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 41° with rain that will stay until tomorrow morning. Not much accomplished yesterday. Today I have a couple of shop and lathe projects to do. Then finish up with some of Lookings energy conserving.

One of my garage doors stopped showing up in the My Q APP. Turns out sensor needed a new battery. Checked out Lowes. Showed they had 24 in stock. Trip to the store got me 2 trips around many aisles with help of a floor person. Not to be found. Came home and ordered off Amazon. They will be here tomorrow. Stuff like this makes me want to stay home using my computer. Is that a sign of getting older? :confused3:

38 high of 42 later big rain coming then high winds on the milder side thru Christmas. No real cold or snow thru the near year but lots of noises about Janurary could be brutal for eastern half of the country but I’m not sold on its staying power and yes this would effect Texas
