Whipper did not get her "drops" today and is reporting a lack of energy and a bit of depression and anxiety. I need to take her for a long therapeutic walk.
Has anyone taking CBD reported any withdraw side effects after discontinuing treatment, besides Whipper?View attachment 591174

Notice any extra appetite?

I gave in an gave Whipper her drug. Here is the withdrawal picture next to the feeling good picture today.View attachment 591231View attachment 591232
Pic on left I can't really see well. Pic on right is nervous outdoor potential freedom. IMO.

In all seriousness, she is a very nervous dog. You and your wife would best be able to see changes to possibly clue a vet in. Hope y'all can figure out what may be going on. Did she travel to Fedor, and got her hopes up, only to be brought back? My dog if sick, would just stop in a walk when he normally would pull you along.

It appears that Whipper responded+ to CBD; started to re-experience - symptoms when discontinued.

Every now and then someone comes into one's life and things change. A kindred spirit of mine was found dead in his kitchen the other day. It was his family's home, 6 occupants, two rooms, and a loft, no running water, no plumbing, no septic; just electricity all their lives. No meat w/o a jacked deer or maybe bluejay or squirrel some times. This is in modern MA too. I/Wifey was/were honored to become part of the family. He walked to get his water from a secret spring even after he got a well because of the potato fields upslope; finally got a septic system too. He "died" when his Dad died while he was in college studying forestry sciences. He knew and forgot more about the NE woods and animals than I will ever hope to know. He tested me every time I visited. He was a survivor, a character, looked like a garden gnome, was well gifted in herbal farming, and one of the most honest, hardworking souls that I have ever met. I'll miss him. I believe in + thoughts, wishes, and prayers. They work.... A few for Jimmy AKA DR Who would be appreciated. He deserved so much more.

Prayers from Texas.

Eric, hope your winds calm down....unless you're on a wind surfer. My associate pastor and his wife are taking a sabbatical over on your island. They will be in the Oxford area for a bit while he works with an alumni on a project. His wife is planning a trip to Ireland while there, and she wants to see Loch Ness too....Not sure why. It always seems cold and windy when I see video of the water. Maybe it's the most beautiful place in the world. If I were going, I would try to find out where Mark Knopfler was playing and go listen. I told them about the waterway system and that there are tour boats.

Just got home after a long day. The project with the tiny generator is coming down to the first mile marker and we are supposed to show some progress.....I believe they have almost all of what they need to get there.

Our winter storm watch has been upgraded to a winter storm warning.
Ours went from a wintwr storm watch, to a winter weather advisory, to a winter storm warning. Wonder what the NWS is drinking tonight.

JB, sounds like my grand parents house where my mom grew up. even in the 70s when grandma lived there alone the only convince was electricity used for TV, lights and cooking stove. No AC and WBS for heat in the winter she later got a propane tank for her stand alone heater. No shower no tub an outdoor wooden out house with a half moon. Water was collected in cisterns from the roof and occasional truck in water in a drought was their only source of water, no well or spring. They sold eggs, and had many chicken snakes. When she finally went to a nursing home the last years of her life she enjoyed the conveniences.

I would have loved to hear your friends knowledge of all the herbs.
May he RIP.

4 degrees right now, high in the mid-20's and another snow event coming through this afternoon.
WHAT...Heavy snow and sleet. Total snow and sleet accumulations
of 6 to 12 inches expected with localized amounts up to 15
inches over far northern New York.

* WHERE...Northern, central, and south-central Vermont, as well
as northern New York.

Looks like a slow drive home and an even slower drive to work tomorrow morning. I'm in central Vermont...

Jay...prayers for your freind.

Hope all have a great day. Be safe.

Good morning. The frost didn't wait around to see the sun at day break, it has already melted thanks to an early morning visit by some warmer air from the south. With no rain in the forecast, this is going to be a good day for a few outside jobs, now I just have to work out which of them deserves to get WUndergrounds's promise of that 3 minutes and 50 seconds of extra daylight today.

Kyle, Loch Ness can be bleak or beautiful, it very much depends on the weather. As a child I had heard many tales tales of the monster that inhabited it's deep, dark water, so the first time we went to Scotland I took one look at the Loch and then hid under a blanket on the back seat of the car for the many miles that the Inverness road follows it up through the Glen.

The early TV Dr Who monsters were almost as scary as Lock Ness, though I doubt I would have hidden behind the couch with your Dr Who friend Jay. He sounds to have been quite a character. I doubt he has left you, or ever will, he will still be right there in your thoughts, ready to test you next time you walk through the woods and when you walk through many fond memories while sitting by the wood burner.

I saw the Loch ness monster when i was there. At least I tell my kids that. Lol

Jay-sorry for the loss of your friend. Looks like we are on the 6 to 9 inches path with possible ice/freezing rain at the end. Off to work this morning but should be home before the heaviest starts falling. Be safe all!

Rainy 35 going to a rainy 46.

RIP DR.

Wife made it home last night after 3 weeks in NC...almost afraid she had forgotten the way home. I had the house spick and span, flowers on the table, and Coco had a new frisbee to present to her.

Today will be coffee roasting day, and work on son's taxes.

4 and going to a high of 12°F. Wind ENE 21 mph. Snow starting at noon and continuing through Wednesday. 2-4" today and 4-8" overnight. (All amounts translated from metric to imperial/ US measurements)

Depending on how fast the snow piles up, I may go out this evening after supper and plow. No fear, I've got lights AND a LED carnival light on top of the cab.

My outside incinerator blew out the door glass sometime in the past three days. It is just an old Elmira wood stove that the insurance company told me I had to get out of the house. There was nothing 'wrong' with it, so I've been using it for an incinerator for the past 15 years.

A dump run is in the cards for this morning, along with a bunch of fresh greens shopping and more fuel for the genny and the Dodge.

Have a good day all

Poured first cup of coffee. 25° with light snow this morning. Heading to 37° with mix of snow, sleet and rain. Should be a good day to stay inside. But wife has a Dr appointment in afternoon. Never made it to shop yesterday. Spent most of the day relaxing. Did clean walkway from the snow we got Sunday night. Hope to get out into shop some time today. As I am typing this message weather has changed to sleet.

Jay, sorry to hear about loss of your friend. May he RIP.

Don I hope you figure out what Whippers problem is.

RNG, I use Garmin Express to download maps. Available for PC and Mac. Which Garmin GPS are you using.

Wngsprd, "wife is home after 3 weeks". Happy days.

Some terrible weather out there. Be warm and safe.

Prayers for all.

Good Morning all.

good morning all. Almost feel guilty announcing it's going to 68 here today
with all you getting socked with snow. Almost. ;)

We got about 3/4 inch of rain yesterday, might get another shower tonight but a nice gentle rain that
I'm sure is making all those seedlings happy.

Headed to dentist this morning, not looking forward to that, know I have a filling, it's the drilling I'm really worried about
with my tinnitus. It amplifies and distorts everything and wondering what that vibration is going to feel like in my head.
I'm going to suggest he does not dally in there....
Can't wait, sort of..., to get to ENT next week.

Toppop, you going to do anything special with that crate engine for your Monte Carlo? 350hp is a lot compared to what it came with.
Real question is, which mufflers...what kind of rumble do you want.

Jay, sorry you lost your special friend.

/ Good morning!!!! #89,040
starting Saturday, it shows five days of rain here. If that's snow North of here, you guys are going to get a real workout.
Drive safely New Englanders.

Big system working its way East now, whenever I see the system dipping down into the Gulf of Mexico, know it's going to suck up moisture there and pump it out to us.

All this rain is going to mess up my potato planting.
