Good evening all. 70F for the start, overcast light wind, .9 inch rain in the gauge from last night. wind was up and down, overcast remained all day, high temp was 77F, low temp is current reading of 61F. Low water #2 is closed. Men's meeting to start morning, bike ride before lunch had light drizzle at end of ride. Nap was 1.5 hours closer to normal, worked on garage door openers, battery (2032) showed 3.3 volts but when batteries were swapped problem followed battery. Wipe down "bad" battery with alcohol and now it works:confused2:

Rich sounds like steel mill needs to take some classes!!

Got to spend time on the backhoe, boy am I rusty. Lots of jerking, not very smooth, but the trench is looking good.
Unfortunately, the control valve is leaking, but on bottom. Im just going to suck it up and keep the fluid full.

Good morning. The spurt of fresh growth on hawthorn is very noticeable this morning. Two of my short cuts through hedges are almost closed off as the weight of the rain on new leaves has dragged branches down. This last year or so my eye muscles have relaxed to the point where I don't need glasses to see distant sheep, which is great, except I have lost that protection against thorns, so now am less inclined to push through a hedge.
Bups, it's tough that you have to see the skin specialist so often, but I suppose the good side of frequent checkups is that when they find a bad one it is going to be fairly new, so hopefully hasn't had sufficient time to become invasive.
Is the lever action the one you told us a while ago had been sitting on a shelf for decades ?

Buppies, sorry about the skin cancer. I've had one squamous and a few basals...I think the Dr. got 'em all off.

Mowed again yesterday. We need rain, too. Even after a record setting amount, things dry out quickly.
